Im going dex with just some luck enough to help out on crit chance and when i get the Victory sniper rifle would also help on bullet refill. Right now, i see very slow recovery animations after casting skills like desperado. That in addition to bullets refill slows down my attacks a lot.
I have been trying with 8 variants; dex/luck base stat and pen/crit acc for both weapon type. Sadly I can't just swap my mostly dex enchant and pen cards from my gear (only have a little though, my acc and headgear are mostly ultraman and poodle) to luck/ crit. My result was : sniper shotgun was super slow and boring to watch but deals better damage in both pen and crit case, also in dex or crit for base stat (120/43 at my level). I put my sniper to cast low level skills and my shotgun to max bombarding. Never try my shotgun to do normal attack and sniper to cast high level skills. Good thing about skills is you can either pick what you can spam with max level, or you can simply stay at lower level. Shotgun spam skill playstyle is good. Never mind slow reloading time if you can swoop everything with single skill, you reloading as you wait mob to respawn. Autorifle revolver was epic to watch, it does crit even with no final crit acc nor cards. It more fun if we play it manually, bursting shot from revolver I and fire dance is fun. Gimmick or not, it was fun. Sadly damage was far behind. Right now I have higher refine and upgrade, doubled my sniper and shotgun, damage still a bit lower. PVP: Bad thing about sniper/shotgun is if you can't defend against rifle/revolver burst damage. As for rifle/revolver, sniper/shotgun can kills from a far. BOTH WEAK AGAINST CC. Sadly we can't play autorifle/pdmg shield build, or sniper with pdmg/ haste shield. Kinda trolling a bit. *I'd like to have sniper/ shotgun with haste, not attack speed.
The equipment transfer stat are so expensive that's why i gave up on gunslinger and get back to sinx because I don't want to start from scratch again. But still your guide are useful.
I've been watching since day one of gunslinger job because I'm planning to switch in this job but the more I am watching videos about Gun Slinger the more its getting complicated. The most terrible part is the choosing of weapon tbh imo. I'm starting to feel lazy switching job and probaby just stay and play until I feel lazy playing teh game again. Im playing at the new server, so im lvl 39 atm.. I say we need to balance luk and haste so that we can spam more skills with high crit
I think Luk build is good because the SE also we will be benefited and besides also the hit issue as per your explanation will be compensate with skills of GS... I will go to build luk build because the Ghost enhance also will be boost in luk build thank u King❤❤
Gunslinger has a lot of skills but only a few skills can be put in combo slot. I reported it in discord but the admin Morae just answered, "It has been like that since day one." So, because it's been like that, we're not going to change it? It's already been 600+ days we've played and there has been many changes. I hope you can relay this one to the devs too King. I have lost hope with the discord admins already.
Can you help to confirm is it the gold weapon effect only take place when you are currently using it to normal/skill atk? If yes then I feel abit weird as normally all other job can benefit from all gold weapon special effect.
it depends on the gold weapon effect description. some of the gold weapon effect is written specific to ONLY normal attack, and some effect stated "when dealing damage" (which in this case in can be BOTH the normal attack and the skill damage).
thanks replying. But it means if you using off-hand weapon to deal damage, you ONLY get off-hand gold weapon effect. And you dont benefit from main-hand gold weapon. Am I right? To me it doesnt seems like other job, like Whitesmith, where it can benefit the gold weapon effect from main and off hand at the same time.@@KingSpadeGaming
Pen=burst Crit=dps and i think LUK is more of a f2p friendly specially most f2p didn't reached more than 3k stat. So only p2w can feel the dimishing return hehe
I agree on him, King. Crit only miss if your target have high anti crit. If you build pure luk, katar assassins will surely miss but not dex-crit ranger
I'm sorry to ask, how do you get a stat of 1000 points? I'm now at lvl90 but barely getting a stat point of 120+. Are these from enchant lvl (stat)? Or am I just building a weak character. I'm a Genetic btw. Thank you sir!
you can use 2 blue/gold acc that gives you stat and make your enchantment awakening 5 ( 3 lv10 in every equipment in prontera/payon), and have upgrade awakening 7 (180/90/45). and your acc refine +8. i'd say it will at least reach 2,5k+ stat

@@LawlessLawlieter dont push yourself at refine if it still +4. so many people quit the game because of that. i think refine is not high priority for your level, and it is not noticeable if your upgrade and enchant is still low. good luck bro!
@@ajialhabsyi pen stat is the counter for the target final defend stat, pen do not have penetration rate like crit damage, it is more like the final phy dmg bns stat
ROX rule of thumb: If the job can use DEX for primary P.Atk or damage multiplier, use DEX. It increases so many attributes: P.Atk, Hit Rate, and Haste. All of these stats are neccessary for Gunslinger so I don't see why GS would want to go pure LUK as monster on higher level have higher Flee Rate and players on KVM especially the Dancer and Shura have high AGI so you will need DEX for hit rate. The most ideal build for whale will be to balance between these two attributes so they have high P.Atk and LUK multiplier for maximum damage output.
But, I think DEX Penetration Build Gunslinger is not a bad idea too. Especially if you are converting from penetration build too. But the occassional critical damage can be pretty annoying as the damage will be significantly lower when crit
No need for dex if crit is enough remember crit dont miss it only miss if the enemy has same % of anti crit vs your crit then if enemy has high flee combined with anti crit
That's in ROM and RO PC, in ROX crit can miss, it has the same hit rate calculation as normal attacks. In ROM only skills can't miss. But Gunslinger skills specifically said that it can crit and can miss.

Well, I don't know who did the calculation as you said but in ROX crit can miss. I play AGI Dancer and my main point to stay alive is to dodge critical build Ranger, so I know what I'm saying. Also, if you need further evidence, just watch this video again, he tells in the video something along the lines of "that it is annoying that sometimes the skill can miss but not to MVP"
For me Dex better because of they can give more damage rather than LUK, but your crit more less rather than LUK. And then for me LUK is better than DEX because can give more CRIT rather than DEX but damage from LUK can miss more often

I will build luck type GS. I think GS had a hit rate% buff if I'm not mistaking.

If u play for the beginning, F2p can reach to 3,8k stat now.

Because Gunslinger have skill to Ghost enchancement like Assasin job have skill Poison enchancement

LUK GS is forced Ghost element, for DEX GS I think neutral element is the way to go
