SunMi is from Wonder Girls and her solo debut song "24 Hours" is a glimpse into her future as a soloist. Both "Gashina" & "24 Hours" choreo are pretty well known.

Yes, Gashina is the iconic dance move in kpop history. Almost every idol has done the dance. Taemin was great. :)

I love the way the video captures self care after a break up in this relatable rollercoaster of emotions. The moping the forced positive self talk the alone time being such a transformative experience (love the whole badass feeling yourself aesthetics against messy pile of clothes she's rolling around...backstage look at the act of reinvention/self discovery. Frim miserable drinking to long baths where you plot your revenge.)
Sunmi is personality. She literally shines in a way most K-pop artists don't and it's cos of her long experience in the industry and genius.

I think what makes her such a success is that everything's so quirky and charming. Her music, her personality, even her singing when she does it a bit off tune. She just seems to really know what type of music she wants to do.

Momo from Twice does a sick rendition of the Gashina dance. And yeah, "Chowa/Jowa" ('j' as an initial consonant is pronounced as 'ch') means "I like it", but also "It's good" and "Fine!" Oddly enough, Korean doesn't differentiate much between saying "It's good" and "I like it".
