- Ein ffilm newydd, a gafodd ei chreu i ddal ysbryd bywyd Cymraeg ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd ac ar draws y ddinas, hefyd yn cael ei rhyddhau yn ystod yr Eisteddfod AmGen.
Mae'r ffilm yn cynnwys cerdd a ysgrifennwyd gan fardd ac aelod o staff Osian Rhys Jones, a enillodd Gadair yr Eisteddfod Genedlaethol yn 2017 am ei gerdd Arwr, ac a berfformir gan Annell Dyfri, myfyriwr yn Ysgol Gymraeg y Brifysgol a Darpar Arlywydd UMCC, Undeb y Myfyrwyr Cymraeg.

Welsh is such a beautiful language. I have fallen in love with it.
As an international student here, actually learning Welsh didn't cross my mind until this year. Because my English is still a problem. But gradually, I realised that I needed to learn the language of the land. I just don't want to be an ignorant foreigner. So I started learning. And I'm sure it's one of the best things I did this year. I really enjoyed it.
Cardiff University has a Welsh for All course for all the students! Why not have a try? Even a few words will be fantastic!
You know , it wouldn't hurt to add subtitles for us ,less fortunate, to actually understand what's going on.

A language is a manner of thinking and solving problems too a certain way as well as explaining some countries specialities from artisanat to folks wisdom: hence why, in 2100 there will be STILL around 3000 languages and dozens of international ones (as underlined scientifically in 2020).
I speak Mexican Spanish which I prefer to mainland Spanish and learned a lot in 11 years in Southern California in the mid 80's, 90's and 2004-2008). And also English / American, but that's because I spent over 12 years in the US and now 20 years in the UK. English is useful and will continue for its benefits in some first degree languages and affires, but not as before! Now, and I'm not talking politically but diplomatically in many ways, about the fact that Trump was elected in the United States for four years and millions of Trumpist extremists are still here as well as Brexit (although I understand why Britain has done it) with its diplomatic confinement, English will henceforth be replaced, in some transactions of international trade and educational / cultural diplomatic cooperation by Spanish, Russian, Hindi, French, Portuguese , Russian, Polish and more.
ALSO Welsh is experiencing incredible growth in Wales and internationally: 884,300 (29.2% of the population of Wales, 2021 and globally it has seen, as we know now, a 44% increase from 2020, with Welsh beating Hindi, Japanese, French and Turkish.

Does the Wales language have any connection with the elvish language from J.R.R.Tolkien's lord of the rings?

Tolkien loved Welsh; he owned a much annotated copy of 'The Mabinogion' and based Sindarin on the Welsh language (much like Quenya is based on Finnish).

It sounds a lot farther from English than the Germanic Languages do,friends.Germanic Languages are of course German,Dutch,Frisian,Afrikaans,and the Scandinavian Languages such as Danish,Swedish,Nowegian,Faeroese,and Icelandic.
English is a Germanic language as well

I always thought Welsh looked like the result of a cat walking across a keyboard. Hearing it with subtitles like this, it actually makes sense it's like that. I'm Polish so I probably can't complain about odd choices for writing your language.
