🚨 Alert for Aspiring IIM Students!
Indian Institute of Management Rohtak Asked 11 students to go to the home after Orientation on the basis of Misrepresentation of Information. 11 students are standing outside the IIM gate. Must watch the video before any comment. But must comment after watching the video.
It has come to our attention that IIMs are canceling admissions after orientation due to "Invalid" NC-OBC certificates. 😮
This issue is impacting students from NC-OBC backgrounds, particularly those with government jobs earning around 8L salary. The IIMs are citing *Misrepresentation of Information* as the reason.
However, what they seem to overlook is that government employees in Grade C are indeed eligible for NC-OBC status. 📜
Moreover, this is happening at the wrong time. Students are either on campus or on their way, and these actions are being taken on baseless grounds. This should have been checked beforehand. As a result, students are unrest.
Dear IIMs, please revisit and clarify the criteria for NC-OBC and EWS to avoid unfair disqualifications. Let's ensure deserving students get their rightful opportunities!
IIM Rohtak is not a institute. They are just looting student money. They have earned 50 lakh from these students, From their previous batch they failed approx 40 student beacuse of therir weird grading system. Their 10 lakh is gone. Around 15 students repeated with 2023 batch and 7 failed again and their 20 lakh is gone. From 450 student only 380 are left. They have earned around 7-8 crore from 2023 batch.
How did u know
Tehsildar signs these nc-obc , if the college can't accept government certificate then what is the use of Nc-obc . On what basis are they deciding those students faked income of their parents .
IIM BG had best process of all IIMs they did all verification before term 1 fee and full transperancy throughout process. so amazing. would be appreciated if you could make one on that
What is the verification process like? Could you please explain in detail?
IIM rohtak is outside city in deserted area moreover it is very close to jail troughing students out from the campus including girls is very risky and highly unacceptable.
This was predictable as they had begged those 50+ repeaters to come back and rejoin the college after paying the full fee, including the registration fee. However, only 3 students flew back and rejoined the college.
Last year, they intentionally failed 15 students, and all 15 students rejoined the college. They predicted that if all 50+ students rejoined, they would gain a profit of approximately 5 crores (10 to 11 lakhs per student). But eventually, only 3 students rejoined the college. Obviously, they were desperate for money.
P.S: They are not going to pay back the fee.

Sir, during the iim rohtak interview, it is clearly mentioned that the parental income consist of both father and mother income. Also, at that time those who don't have proof of that was provided with a declaration proof that they will provide this during final document verification. In my opinion, nothing wrong was done with those who have neglected this information and got rejected after this. As an IIM it has full authority to remove anyone admission who is not working according to their policy.
I second your points. They have all rights reserved. But NC OBC norms of any IIMs should be as per govt of India. With 8L there are sub-clauses too.
At least they should be allowed to stay in the hostel or guest room for a night.

Salary income and income from agriculture is not taken into account for creamy layer criteria. Students should check it from various circulars from website of National Backward class Commission and also from DoPT.

And if your both parents are gp B before 40 years ,then also you are in creamy layer ,but if one parent is gp B ,say your father is gp B and mother is Gp C till the age 40 years ,then you are not in creamy laer

As per the sources, the students can withdraw their admission on 20th June till 8:30. A:M. If they have informed them in the morning the student can demand their refund and parents would have created scene. So, Rohtak just made profit out of it. They earned 50 lakh from them. In my 2023 Rohtak pgp batch. There were plenty of OBC who have their annual income more that 8 lakh. Why the scams does not happen in Any other IIM. Why only Rohtak every time?

Sorry sir but you information is wrong.My Dad is Inspector Gst ( GRADE B) but it is not a result of direct requirement , he was promoted. My dad didn't become Grade 1 officer before 40 years of age. Therefore I am a NC OBC candidate. Provided my mom has no job. Please check your sources.

Sir actually iim rohtak asked the students to bring their parents itr during the interview and they also signed a circular from the students who have failed to do so and will bring their itr on the admission day. It was also mentioned the salary to be less than 8lpa

You have only shown one side of the story. I believe that sudden verification is beneficial as it prevents students from forging their documents. If these 'potentially fraudulent' students are indeed found to be fraudulent, their fees likely won't be refunded. In that case, it's a good measure.
The point is they don’t know the rules themselves there is not only one criteria of obc NCL but there are two one is income limit which is applicable for everyone except government employees for government employees the salary is not seen rather the grade of job is seen while joining there is no income limit for government employees from salaries

In order to qualify as an OBC non-creamy layer candidate, the applicant’s parents’ annual income should be less than Rs. 8 lakhs.
As far as the Government employees are considered, the entry cadre/post is to be taken into consideration. Salary and agricultural income are not to be considered as income for calculating annual income for creamy layer status.
While applying the “Income/Wealth Test” to determine the creamy layer status of any candidate, income from the salaries and income from the agricultural land shall not be taken into account.

1. I lost my father few years ago nd my mother is a homemaker so I have zero parental income. However my brother works as an assistant manager in a public sector bank. So am I eligible for ews?
2. I am having OBC caste certificate however I never used it since childhood. All my documents have general category mentioned on it. This year I applied through general category but didn't convert even a single college after scoring 98.72
I'm planning to use my caste certificate in the upcoming attempt. Would they consider it as valid? Or it can create an issue about why I am suddenly using my caste certificate. I'm having valid documents anyway.

I have made my ews certificate with my father name as Rajesh Singh. In my all documents, my father name is Rajesh Singh but in my father documents his name is Rajesh Kumar. My father also fill itr with Rajesh Kumar as his name .

you need to get one NC - OBC certificate
SBC certificate is valid for state admissions or job but for admission in central institute or for central job you need to get central obc certificate .You may contact me if have any problems.

Income of your parents annually exceed 8 lakh or more than 3 years consecutively then you are not eligible but if didn't exceed consecutively for 3 year you are eligible.
Agricultural income is not considered. I guess you are eligible for NC OBC

@@priteshsingh2779report it to the authorities if it bugs you this much. Fake certificates if found.. the person not only loses the job but the government will also recover the money over the years alongside the whatever punishment.
Just because you find some cases of irregularity, you can't expect the Govt to remove the provision altogether. What you can do at best is to show the proof concerning your friend and ask the Govt to revoke his EWS certificate or raise your voice asking the Govt to ensure that irregularities like these won't happen. Do these or else it's better you stay quiet and do not vent your frustrations in wrong ways towards wrong entities.

Maybe you need history lessons about various caste atrocities across millennia, and statistics lessons about percentage of population of each category vs percentage of seats available to each respective category.
