2) Bengal ke partition ke baad Swadeshi moment me bhi unhone hissa liya. He was against foreign goods and promoted idea of swadeshi. Unhone foreign goods ko aag me jhok diya aur logo ko aisa karne ko kaha.
3) abhinav bharat, mitra mela jaisi org banayi jisme hazaro freedom fighters ko angrezo se ladne ke liye taiyar kiya.
4) unhe angrezo ke dwara kolhu me bael(ox) ki jagh jota jata tha 6-6 ghante ke liye. Rukne par ya pani mangne par kode(whip) barsaye jaate the. Ve apne hi khoon se san jaaya karte the. Cellular jail me torture karne ki koi intehaan ni thi.

एक कल्पना कीजिए... तीस वर्ष का पति जेल की सलाखों के भीतर खड़ा है और बाहर उसकी वह युवा पत्नी खड़ी है, जिसका बच्चा हाल ही में मृत हुआ है...
इस बात की पूरी संभावना है कि अब शायद इस जन्म में इन पति-पत्नी की भेंट न हो. ऐसे कठिन समय पर इन दोनों ने क्या बातचीत की होगी. कल्पना मात्र से आप सिहर उठे ना?? जी हाँ!!! मैं बात कर रहा हूँ भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के सबसे चमकते सितारे विनायक दामोदर सावरकर की. यह परिस्थिति उनके जीवन में आई थी, जब अंग्रेजों ने उन्हें कालापानी (Andaman Cellular Jail) की कठोरतम सजा के लिए अंडमान जेल भेजने का निर्णय लिया और उनकी पत्नी उनसे मिलने जेल में आईं.
मजबूत ह्रदय वाले वीर सावरकर (Vinayak Damodar Savarkar) ने अपनी पत्नी से एक ही बात कही... - “तिनके-तीलियाँ बीनना और बटोरना तथा उससे एक घर बनाकर उसमें बाल-बच्चों का पालन-पोषण करना... यदि इसी को परिवार और कर्तव्य कहते हैं तो ऐसा संसार तो कौए और चिड़िया भी बसाते हैं. अपने घर-परिवार-बच्चों के लिए तो सभी काम करते हैं. मैंने अपने देश को अपना परिवार माना है, इसका गर्व कीजिए. इस दुनिया में कुछ भी बोए बिना कुछ उगता नहीं है. धरती से ज्वार की फसल उगानी हो तो उसके कुछ दानों को जमीन में गड़ना ही होता है. वह बीच जमीन में, खेत में जाकर मिलते हैं तभी अगली ज्वार की फसल आती है. यदि हिन्दुस्तान में अच्छे घर निर्माण करना है तो हमें अपना घर कुर्बान करना चाहिए. कोई न कोई मकान ध्वस्त होकर मिट्टी में न मिलेगा, तब तक नए मकान का नवनिर्माण कैसे होगा...”. कल्पना करो कि हमने अपने ही हाथों अपने घर के चूल्हे फोड़ दिए हैं, अपने घर में आग लगा दी है. परन्तु आज का यही धुआँ कल भारत के प्रत्येक घर से स्वर्ण का धुआँ बनकर निकलेगा. यमुनाबाई, बुरा न मानें, मैंने तुम्हें एक ही जन्म में इतना कष्ट दिया है कि “यही पति मुझे जन्म-जन्मांतर तक मिले” ऐसा कैसे कह सकती हो...” यदि अगला जन्म मिला, तो हमारी भेंट होगी... अन्यथा यहीं से विदा लेता हूँ.... (उन दिनों यही माना जाता था, कि जिसे कालापानी की भयंकर सजा मिली वह वहाँ से जीवित वापस नहीं आएगा).
अब सोचिये, इस भीषण परिस्थिति में मात्र 25-26 वर्ष की उस युवा स्त्री ने अपने पति यानी वीर सावरकर से क्या कहा होगा?? यमुनाबाई (अर्थात भाऊराव चिपलूनकर की पुत्री) धीरे से नीचे बैठीं, और जाली में से अपने हाथ अंदर करके उन्होंने सावरकर के पैरों को स्पर्श किया. उन चरणों की धूल अपने मस्तक पर लगाई. सावरकर भी चौंक गए, अंदर से हिल गए... उन्होंने पूछा.... ये क्या करती हो?? अमर क्रांतिकारी की पत्नी ने कहा... “मैं यह चरण अपनी आँखों में बसा लेना चाहती हूँ, ताकि अगले जन्म में कहीं मुझसे चूक न हो जाए. अपने परिवार का पोषण और चिंता करने वाले मैंने बहुत देखे हैं, लेकिन समूचे भारतवर्ष को अपना परिवार मानने वाला व्यक्ति मेरा पति है... इसमें बुरा मानने वाली बात ही क्या है. यदि आप सत्यवान हैं, तो मैं सावित्री हूँ. मेरी तपस्या में इतना बल है, कि मैं यमराज से आपको वापस छीन लाऊँगी. आप चिंता न करें... अपने स्वास्थ्य का ध्यान रखें... हम इसी स्थान पर आपकी प्रतीक्षा कर रहे हैं...”.
क्या जबरदस्त ताकत है... उस युवावस्था में पति को कालापानी की सजा पर ले जाते समय, कितना हिम्मत भरा वार्तालाप है... सचमुच, क्रान्ति की भावना कुछ स्वर्ग से तय होती है, कुछ संस्कारों से. यह हर किसी को नहीं मिलती

Here is some facts about vinayak damodar savarkar for those who don't know and for those people who make derogatary comments about this great freedom fighter ( this is long comment)
Since 1897 to 1947, continuous 50 years of struggle in gaining the freedom of Bharat with 14 years inhuman torture imprisonment + 13 years house arrest confinement.
1.
First Indian student rusticated from the hostel of an institution aided by the British Govt & the first Indian political leader publicly performed a bonfire of foreign clothes in 1905 against the partition of Bengal. The agitation got spread across the country then.
2.First Indian nationalist who passed the resolution and demanded for complete independence in London.
3.
First political leader to daringly proclaim absolute political independence of India as her goal at a time when the mere word Raj or Swaraj spelled ruin for the speaker.
4.First Barrister, refused the degree on account of his political line of thought by the British Government & first graduate to lose the degree of an Indian University for his love for independence.
5.
First Indian leader to invest the problem of Indian Independence with international importance.
6.
First Indian author who earned a distinction in the domain of world literature as his work was proscribed by the Govt. of 2 countries even before it was printed or published.
7.
First rebel leader of India who refused to recognize the authority of the British Court of Law.
8.
First political prisoner in the history of the world the issue of whose arrest was fought out in the International Court at the Hague.
9.
First political prisoner in the history of the world, who was sentenced to half a century’s transportation. (50 Years inhuman torture imprisonment)

First world poet who deprived of pen & paper, composed & wrote his poems on the prison walls with thorns & pebbles.

His The Indian war of Independence 1857 was banned by Britishers in 2 countries before publish. Thousands of revolutionaries memorized the stormy preface then, became a holy "Geeta" for the revolutionaries. Later, Bhagat Singh in 1931 & Subhas Bose in 1943 secretly published.

Thousands of revolutionaries (2 generations) influenced by his persona. It's now unhidden fact that it was only Savarkar who told to Subhas Bose for leaving the country in continuing the struggle with arms. (Recall 22 June 1940 secret meeting between 2 at Bombay)

Only the Indian leader to whom the British empire conferred the epithet as "The most dangerous man India has ever produced"

First political prisoner who wrote the 1000’s of lines of patriotic poetry on the walls of jail while tied up with handcuffs.
There is some misinformation. He did not spend 9 years in Andaman.
It was 11 years in Andaman
Then 3 years in Ratnagiri Jail.
And then 13 years in House Arrest which was a jail in that he could not meet anyone or go out of Ratnagiri.
In total he spent 27 years in imprisonment.

When the war was declared, my personal sympathies were all with the Boers, but I believed then that I had yet no right, in such cases, to enforce my individual convictions.
