    So that a step down transformer you are powering a circuit breaker panel is it a step down or step up?

    • @adventurousdiyguy838
      @adventurousdiyguy838  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s a step down from High voltage to Low Voltage, the panel it goes to is low voltage and the panel that feeds the transformer is a high voltage. Sava?

    Never installed a grounding bushing on a greenfield connector feeding a transformer. Usually only use them when using a rigid steel pipe or conduit between meter can and trough or service panel. Nice conduit runs. We were not allowed to use motion detector sensors for controlling luminares in any electrical room or switchgear room. Had guy working on top of not wired in 13KV equipment and the motion sensor could not pick him up and ended in the dark probably 30' from the step ladder to climb down. I always carry a good LED bright flashlight in my shirt pocket.

    No system bonding jumper which means you don’t clear faults. ☹️

    Congratulations you have failed. X0 is not bonded and you can only use 1 ground conductor and that 2 barrel lug is a no no here in Massachusetts.

      Greetings John, with the knowledge you have you shouldn’t be watching crazy video like this since you are so smart. The world know that xo must be bonded we we didn’t have anymore crimp lug at the time but if you notice a space was there on the mechanical lug for bonding, anyway if you don’t have anything positive to say, please stay away from this page. It’s all about positivity over here thank you, sir.

      @@adventurousdiyguy838 With all due respect, if you cannot take constructive criticism, you shouldn't allow comments. You have to accept the good and the bad. The criticisms are actually justified because the main bonding jumping is CRITICAL and that fact that there's no mention of it in your video is a failure on your part not only while recording the video but also while editing the video. Bonding and grounding is so much more important that the ungrounded conductors and that's where you should have started; just like when you wire up a receptacle. Instead of PVC, you should have used EMT to keep the conduit uniform, especially being exposed in the electrical room. Attention to detail is very important and any these oversights are the things that lead to failures in electrical systems.

    As a fellow electrician, please stop referring to "conduit"as pipe.Plumbers run pipe,we run conduit.Thanks in advance.
