LG Microwaves have preset settings for Murg Tandoor...that can be used as well
Yes u can use autcook mode too..i felt chicken got slightly dry in that mode ..i used this convection mode

For small pieces just microwave in high power for 3mins and then grill for 5 min each side

Convection +gril mode can be used for frying chicken
Micro +grill can be used for chapati rotti kindoff items
But mostly try to use separately because the chicken wont cook well when we use combination mode

Step 1 cook in convection mode at 200deg C for 10min each side of chicken
Step 2 as u said smaller chicken piece u can grill for 10 min for each side
Note( use tall grillrack for cooking smaller piece chicken)

Don't open microvoen running on.. eyes will damage 200 percent.

@@MsHema28 yes i tried it but it becomes hard outside and wont be juicy inside.. so i suggest to use convection mode at 1st and then use grill mode
whiteplates next time try to keep a glass bowl with water under the chicken rack, due to water the chicken becomes very soft n juicy ,
