I, personally as a Nigerian would wish to maintain my love for both countries even though it's obvious that some Ghanaian here are so ignorant and naive about independence or independent as it may be, to be free is not a birthday, get it clear, an instant if a baby begin to creep does not mean is birthday, you guys with such mindset should refrain from it because the past and older generation of Ghana recognized Nigeria as a Big brother, you guys can go down to your history to find out more yourself and why Nigeria is a Big brother. I will elaborate in a few words. Let assume Ghana and Nigeria are entities. The difference between the deportations is that when Ghana deported Nigerians in 1969/70 the government of Ghana provided free transportation for every Nigerian to go back home unlike what Nigeria did to Ghanaians. The then government contracted with a company called Tarzan Transport to carry Nigerians home and that is a fact.

The aliens compliance law did not only affect Nigeria. There were many other nationals who were affected, but Nigerians where the majority. If Hausa's we're brought down to fight against Ashanti's they may probably not be Nigerians because even now in Nigeria majority of the people who claim to be Hausa are from neighbouring countries: Mali and Niger, the fulani's. Your claim does not hold water!!!! They can't drag Ghana in anything. Stupidity is the problem of some Nigerians. How will Ivory Coast beat you and you continue to blame Ghana. That is senselessness in the highest order. What are you arguing. The last time Black Stars met Super Eagles they tore them apart. Ghana has won the Afcon on four consecutive times. How many times has Nigerians won it. Can the Nigerians in Ghana be saying rubbish on social media, try the nonsense in their own country? No foreigner in Nigeria can't try the nonsense in Nigeria. You will not even try it. If you dare try such in Nigeria your own spirit will deny. The moment you try it, your own spirit will remind tell, "you are on your own"!!!! Nigerian need the unity of Nigeria then the unity of Africa. You idiot why can't you go to your country and push the unity of Igbo, Hausa and Igbo. The inspector general of Police, you have been sleeping. Some Nigerians are good human beings. I know and I am speaking reality. But there are some of them in Ghana who are bush animals who escaped bush traps in Nigeria but in the process found themselves in the heavens in Ghana.

You lied and stop lying to Ghanaian who probably don't know the history, before the Bristish even arrived the coast and established the Gold coast government in 1821 the Ashante empire are already in war with the Fante protectorate for territorial gain. Part of Nigeria was annexed to the Bristish protectorate somewhere around 1851. Under the Bristish rule, they initiated warriors from other annexed regions, including the RNC now known as Nigeria and Togoland, which consists of the present day Togo, Greater Accra and Volta region of today Ghana. The collaboration was to help the Fante war against Ashante, who are so dominant in the most part of the region. After over 80 years of Ashante dominant over other annexed regions of today Ghana, or better said it own people the empire was defeated in 1902, then Nigeria was already named Nigeria in 1897. After the fall of the Ashante empire the whole entire region fell into the Bristish protectorate, and the name Ghana was birth in 1957, for which is independent was established. I suggest you guys should ask questions before ranting here on social media and for those of you who think Ghana is older than Nigeria because she got independent first should refrain from such idea because Nigeria was long established in 1897 before modern day Ghana in 1957 get it clear, and is why Nigeria is the big brother, you get it now. But to say Ghana is the Junior or Younger Brother of Nigeria, is false.
You can not use the size of your population to determine who is older but it is about the date of independence. Ghana had independence in 1957 while Nigeria had independence in 1960. So Ghana is 3 years older than Nigeria.

The name Ghana was formed or established in the year 1957, while Nigeria in the other hand, was named in 1897, so who is the big brother? Simple is Nigeria. You get it now.

Who said Kwame nkrumah brought freedom in West Africa? That's a big lie. To be honest, he was a traitor, and he was chased into exile. Today most African in diaspora are finding interest in Ghana because many do not know about Ghana past evil secrets. Ghana is the only Africa country with over 600 slaves castle spread along the coast. The Ashante empire was also part of the trade for territorial gain even before the Bristish arrived the coast in 1821. Those that were enslaved are mostly the Togoland and Fante protectorate. You find these people in Togo, Volta, and the Eastern region known as part of today Ghana with the exception of the Ashante empire that was later captured by the British in 1902 and at that time the slaves trade has been abolished, approximately 55 years later the name Ghana was formed in 1957 and also it freedom to independent was established.

If you have any questions about it I suggest you seek knowledge from your elders who knows Ghana history.
