He's playing against Chicago. I think he'd actually have returned to the game if it were closer. He's fine. DQ is just being careful and not giving Chicago any information he doesn't have to.
Has any guy injured during the offseason or regular season thus far, return early or when we all "hoped" ? Newton, Noah, Ekeler, B-Rob, now Armstrong. What do these guys have in common? DQ held them out at least a week beyond when it was thought they may be able to return. There is precedence or a pattern here guys. Like it or not, DQ errors on the side of caution. I say no JD against the Bears.
Has nothing to do with whether or not he can run a read option. Can do that with sore ribs and an injection. Throwing the ball accurately is the question.
I'm sorry but Daniel needs a stern talking to regarding him running with the ball, he's just not being sensible , he should have gone right and used the sideline as his friend giving him the chance to go out of bounds but sorry he got greedy and it could have been worse, the same as the week before when he went on a keeper from the 10 yard line but instead of keeping his head up to see alternatives he was tackled with force when he had a wide open team nate to his right for a touchdown , if he doesn't learn from this it could seriously hurt his career
If you go back & watch the play he literally tried to slide once he realized he might get caught which is what made him roll awkwardly.. He will be fine just has to learn how to fall, sliding is not always the safest way when the defender is behind you & not in front of you. He’ll learn from it
Trying to slide and actually sliding are way different. He has to learn and practice when and how to slide. It’s a QB’s responsibility to protect himself for the sake of the team. In the NFL, once a QB starts to slide, the play is considered over and defenders can’t hit him. The fact he doesn’t slide with purpose and conviction is inviting hits.
@@gr12321 He literally did slide go rewatch the play. Sliding is the reason he got hurt in that situation & Its probably because everybody been banging “slide slide slide” in his head when in reality its not smart to slide when defenders behind you like I said which is why he landed akward. He was have been better off falling foward but it’s football its not that big of a deal almost every dual threat qb has had injuries including lamar who has missed plenty of games & Is just now learning how to fall & protect hisself jayden is a rookie he will adjust & learn with experience
@@Jayy247 He did exactly what you said. He TRIED to slide…with two defenders already hanging on to him. My point is sliding is an afterthought for him, just like RGIII. When they run, they both act like running backs, fight for extra yards every time. I am saying he should pre-plan finishing each run with a slide and start the slide before significant contact. Only in cases of a couple of extra yards are needed, such as TD or 1st downs, should he try to make extra yards by taking contact. Russell Wilson in his prime, did that all the time. It’s something you have to practice to get the timing just right. JD is too valuable as a passer to risk injury for extra yards running.
Jayden ain't try to slide but he actually did slide while 2 defenders behind him. The issue is everyone keeps telling him to slide which is unnatural for him which in this case lead to a awkward fall where he got folded up. Whatever is natural for Jayden is the best way he should get down. Lamar NEVER slide because it's just not natural type of fall for him. Everybody just gotta relax and let Jayden play free without thinking bout getting hurt. Jayden left plays on the field by not cutting back into field like the long run vs Browns where he could have cut back into field for a walk in touchdown. I'm sure he watched that tape & he seen a chance to score.
Feel like these media people are disappointed they can't start chastising the coaching staff about designed run plays. They thrive on that shit.
It does feel like they are over doing it 🤷🏽♂️
@@gregorygreen6465 know what I’m sayin? Can tell they’re dying to second guess the brass and bang on about the Griffin thing
Man these guys want Washington to win.
@@Smallfish16 And? What does that have to do with anything?
They have never let go of their pain and trauma from RG3.

Exactly u guys our Very right on all that ❤ healthy care of a body first to heal 100%
Jayden for SURE could have had the TD if he stayed next to the sideline.
Facts. Just like the run against FLA

Bruised ribs...fine with a shot. But we live in pampered times. Jayden run to the sideline not the meat of on coming defense. Learn your lesson

What a Tie video I really hope they just rest him at less 1 week or 2
