Ever considered Maps.me? - its a great app which works offline and can tell you where you are even off-road and in what direction you are heading. Also can tell you how to get to your destination and where to find a cafe, cash machine etc. Its got me out of jail many times

Out of jail or out of a jam?
You should have been riding touring bikes with panniers for this route.
They rode what works for them. I prefer bags on a gravel hike for my setup, and 38mm gravel kings.
