The Bruma Torch (the item I'm holding) is a reward from Wintertodt and acts as a tinderbox inside Wintertodt, allowing you to light the brazier without a tinderbox, effectively saving you an inventory space.
Idk why but if I’m on a mass world, I’m a west side kinda man but if I solo it, it’s east all the way. Anything different feels weird to me. Maxed point solo kills are the way to go 100%
Hey if you enjoy them thats all that matters. In terms of efficiency world hopping is significantly better as it's the same amount of loot per hour with about double the XP
@@FancyLife yeah, it’s definitely a lot slower xp/hour but it’s a lot more afk, if you keep it at low hp, it hits way less often. Takes about 40 mins-an hour and you get 27 rolls on the crate, usually around 200k loot. I just watch videos or shows on the side, I don’t even really think of it as RuneScape time, I just do it while doing other things. If you wanna get the xp as fast as possible, definitely not the way to go though. Great guide by the way!
@@Gorindakia Absolutely, and when the wintertodt energy is low you have a better chance at a brazier breaking meaning more con XP. it's a great chill method :)
@@FancyLife for sure! I’ve already gotten 99 fire making, I’m doing it if I just want something chill to do/semi pet hunting. Sound is definitely not needed, but for me personally this is one of the only times I ever use sound in game. Just makes it more relaxed so you can focus on another screen more :)
I'm not sure, I can't even pretend to know, which is why I gave an alternative method (using an alt instead), but I can say that I've had this installed for the better part of a year without any issues. Similarly, this plugin is used by the pet hunting community, which I expect to have some very security-conscious players in there. tl;dr, no idea. it's ~6m to bond an alt for a month as you get 99. :)
If I'm not wrong the plugin functions by fetching the Wintertodt's status from players that have the plugin and are in those worlds. That data is then sent to a server which then shares that information with all of the users of the plugin, so that's why it's privy to your IP.
If you are playing full games in a mass world, you should be able to reach 5-600 points consistently with burn only methods, as long as you're paying attention. But I also promise that putting in the effort and fletching is absolutely worth it
honestly, no real idea. i got the same warning, i still use the plugin, but you can always just bond a level 3 alt & have that hop around for you if youre concerned about anything
If I just want xp do I skip fletching? Also why do I need extra logs, you said somewhere in the video have extra logs. Aren’t the logs supposed fo go in the brazier 😊
The highest FM XP/Hr is done by joining games that are halfway done & maximizing your points to reach 500 (to complete the game) and getting the big XP drop at the end of the game. Perfect play can result in like ~425k fm xp/hr + fletching xp If you aren't hopping worlds (which you should, it's very easy..), then you still want to fletch to use downtime to create kindling which is worth more FM xp when burned. Like when you run to and from the brazier, you want to fletch a log. This is why you should keep a couple logs in your inventory, for any time youre running (perhaps to another brazier if yours goes out & the pyro is down) you can turn the time spent doing nothing while running into time spent fletching for more FM XP once burned. Hope this makes sense :)
@@Pk3dut0d4y Chop a full inv of logs. click brazier, while you run to brazier you fletch one log. burn all the logs except 1-2. on your way back to the bruma root to chop more logs, you fletch another log. @@FancyLife lol I couldn't tell you how many hours I've played it in 23 years but it's easily more than 10k. The music is even better when you get the nestalgia
I actually did this grind at 10hp (Video out soon TM). I think Wintertodt is fine as long as you're below like 40hp, but then it starts getting very annoying and this method gets a lot slower because you suddenly have ~30s downtime every 2-3 games due to needing to bank for more food. Something that happens fairly often is that as you run to the brazier while fletching, you notice it's about to break, and at very low HP levels you often better just continuing to fletch that log, getting kindling, then taking the 2 damage from the break. When you're high HP (60+) that same breaking does ~8 damage. Basically, as long as you're doing world hop or solo it's not terrible because the hit frequency is lower, but higher HP = slower XP due to more banking. But I also think that Wintertodt is really for early game supplies, so if you've managed to get to mid game without doing Todt, you shouldn't really need to do it until you need the level for the diary.

You can "force" it via use of friends, alts, etc to either help speed up a world or have another separate world primed & ready to go (like a solo sitting at 5-10 hp only waiting for you to get 500 points) as for the fletching.
