This is so exciting! I ordered this the other day when I got the sephora app exclusive notice, it was just so pretty. Seeing the swatches has me even more excited. I can't wait! I had decided I would pair it with Blend Bunny mattes and Unearthly mattes. I think the grungy mattes in the Surge palette and the chrome green... so good! I love the looks you did. Beautiful!!

I'd love to see comparisons between the colors in this and the first one. There are a couple shades that look similar.
They are similar but the main difference is the highlighters in Vol 3. Also like that the creams in Vol 3 aren’t in Vol 4.

I’m an Indie girl and I bought some chrome flakes and her Lightwork Vol 3 and was deeply disappointed. I ended up selling them. Sugar drizzle does it better and cheaper.
I've heard only newbies like her flakes and "special shadows " cause they yet don't know how well indie slays 😊
Hope you got at least some value back, it sucks being disappointed at expensive makeup.

No one talks about them, but Looxie Beauty has $3 duochromes that are out of this world. They just put out some new ones for $12, but they’re definitely worth checking out. I get compliments every time I wear them.

The palette looks amazing and those colors are phenomenal, I am a little unsure about the price and I know that the formulas are great but I am not sure how much I will use a palette like this ... i LOVE IT but maybe it is more for a makeup artist or for someone that does makeup for a living not for just the regular person like me that will never finish a makeup palette or any makeup product

Love this review and I totally agree this would be the perfect companion palette to anyone's collection and u wld probably have all the multichromes u need to combine with your collection. I'm an indie girl myself and when it comes to special shades I have so many Devinah and Glaminatrix shadows that could dupe these shades and perform just as beautiful as DM. Even Adept has several palettes with several shifty shades with mattes to make complete looks. 2- 3 Adept palettes would equal the price of this DM palette so If your on a budget i would highly suggest checking out her links below because their formulas are just as good if not better! I'm only saying to look at your own budget because I know there are so many affordable indie brands, especially when you use a code. Thank you so much Steff for this review! I realized I forgot to mention Adept and I can’t believe it?! Yes!! They are amazing at multi and duochromes!! Your collection sounds amazing!
I have a whole lot of indie multichromes but I brought both Danessa Myricks palettes to have them in a palette together. Her formula is great. Plan to travel with mine. Love Clionadh, Adept, Terra Moons and Unearthly muiti-chrome eye shadows.
You have really pretty long lashes! I myself have a lot of lashes and they are long as well. You should look into what an eyelash lift and tint are I got one one time and it made my straight eyelashes have a beautiful curl and I didn’t even need mascara I think you would love it if you tried it! It lasts a couple months too!

Yay!!! So excited! I am a HUGE DM fan but I do notice a lot of her palettes have a lot of greens/olives/yellows/oranges in them so I just don't know if I'd use this enough. But it's definitely beautiful and on my ever-growing wish list. Love that she includes different textures!

@@AnetteL.Nielsen sure! 😊 I absolutely love and can not live without her balm powder. I reviewed this product a few months ago and can't believe how incredible this product is for my oily dehydrated acne prone skin. You could see after 8 hrs. Total game changer. Also love her colorfix's for the eyes. Those suckers do not budge day and night and has many dif finishes. Her dew wet balm provides a beautiful dewy glowy sheen, have all of them I think. Staple in the summer. Her vision flush is beautiful for blush and lips but not a "must have" imo. Her balm contour formula is the bees knees and affordable imo but the shades are way too olive for me so unfortunately can't wear them. She just released a new shade fair and you could see it looked muddy shade wise on me, but formula is chefs kiss if you can find a shade. That said, her newest foundation did not work for me at all. You could see I looked ghostly and it emphasized texture bad but that balm powder is my #1. 🥰

I'd say if you're someone who wants to get into shifty shadows from a brand that is accessible in more mainstream retailers than this is actual good price to product value. 🤗If you have a lot of multichorme indie shadows than I think this whole palette is quite dupable and maybe not a good investment. The water activated shades I'm not that impressed about, seems bit fickle to work with, but all the other shades are very pretty. 🥰
Not a big fan either of those Aqua Chromes. Definitely if you have lots of single indie shades you have most of these shades. I just couldn’t get over how smooth the Velvet Chromes were?! Amazing!

Danessa Myricks def seem to have improved her formula! I just have multichrome singles from indie brands that cover all the colors, and I think I would get the unearthly cosmetics or sugar drizzle all shimmer palettes if I were to get all shimmer palettes, though. omg I wish Natasha Denona would do more mattes in here palettes than shimmers or multichromes. They just can't compare to PML, DM, or indies.... Also BadtotheBrow is awesome! So thorough and meticulous and really humble and kind to their commenters, you are awesome too!

Even though she doesn't call them water activated liners, those two aqua chromes are definitely water activated liners! If you drop 2-3 drops of water into the pan & swirl it around with a small/thin brush, it will create a paint that you can then create graphic liner looks with! 🤗💙 Great content, beautiful looks!

I think the price is fair, 125 USD for 14 shifty multichromatic shades breaks down to 8.90 USD per shade. Compared to indie multichromes I would say this is not that expensive.

I heard that her Chrome Amplifier brush set should be used with this palette. I see them on her website for 15.00 for the set, however out of stock at the moment with a notify me option. I see it's a 7 brush set, and for only 15.00, not bad! Hope thay helps! Its Beautiful like you Steff❣️

Danessa Myricks is an indy brand... and while there are cheaper options, better formulas when it comes to certain brands, single duo chromes/multi chromes, to get this many you'll pay the same if not more..... whether it's worth it, well that's up to each individual...

I want it but I just can’t bring myself to spend that much . I have the pink pressed chrome flakes and the amplifier brush from my trendmood box and I’m tempted but I need more reviews . Plus a lot of times I find the colors just don’t look nearly as good on my pale skin as someone with more tan or darker colored skin , you can pull off the colors nicely. Though !
Yeah don’t worry. I know you can get similar looks with stuff you already have!

Similar but since this one doesn’t have those highlighters and cream shades I’d say there are definitely differences. I’ll try and post a swatch pic of both.

Great video but I disagree with you about the price point. Indie multichromes can get quite expensive, some can even be $20 per shadow. If you grabbed 8 jeweled multichromes from Clionadh without sale, that's roughly ~$150. Of course, the great thing about indies is that you can get them on sale, but then comes the long wait turn around time. I think this palette is great value for those who are new to multichromes and don't have a lot of shades that can be duped already or even those like me who like to collect single shadows but rarely ever use them and prefer palettes anyway. So with 8 multichrome shades you're already getting your money's worth, on top of that you get to try 3 other unique formulas! I just wanted to put that into perspective for those who might be considering this palette.

This palette is beautiful but I wish she didn't include those aqua chromes. I don't like that they need an extra step but don't perform better than the velvet chromes.

- Oh yeah, the aqua chrome is not it! The main reason to justify using water activated shades is how opaque it makes them.
- Exactly what I'm thinking - I'd only pay Pat's prices for a palette FULL of the special shades.
- Can you please update us after using it for a while about the longevity? Do they crease, do they fade, how do they hold up throughout the day...

Just an FYI,I broke down the total cost of this palette including tax per shade and it was essentially $9 and change per shade if I remember correctly. I felt it was worth it when comparing Indy multichrome cost per shades.

I love this palette but despite using a glitter glue I am still getting a lot of glitter fallout so I am beginning to look like the tin man😂

Sorry Steph but I disagree 100%. 1st point, Danessa is 100% an indie brand. 2nd add up those duo chromes and multichromes and you will pay more from comparable indie brands. I’ve NEVER paid less than $18 for a single multichromes from Devinah, menagerie, etc. And no less than $9 for a duochrome. 3rd, the size of those 4 center pans are MASSIVE. While $125 is a lot for a palette, it’s NOT a lot for the equivalent of the products IN the palette. These palettes are actually an excellent VALUE.
