I'm gonna call it right now: There's going to be a segment at the end of the stage where a spring or something launches Sonic into the background, catching Dr. Robotnik off-guard. One of three things will happen 1: Eggman orders Metal Sonic to defeat the hedgehog, making Metal the stage's boss 2: Eggman rushes stage-left to grab his boss-machine. 3: Eggman reveals that his DJ booth _is_ the boss-machine (or at least the cockpit of it, with the rest of it hidden beneath the stage).
I'ma just add a fourth possibility because this was revealed quite a while ago: 4: The Temporacle, having been awakened, takes over Metal Sonic and/or Eggman's boss machine to fight Sonic with.
Arun S It's an old Sonic cartoon that used to play (fully named Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog), it used the sound font of the shows theme when it plays the Sonic 2 boss theme!
Totally agree! I respect what Nico chooses to label their own art. But I politely disagree with the [OLD] label. This mix is slightly over produced with moments of too many sounds layered on top of each other. But I personally think it's an S tier bop! I was sad to see the [old] label. It makes me think I should be ashamed for still liking it.
I screamed "shit yes!" Also that backstory is so amazing. I love your music, it totally inspires me to do my best. I'm still listening and this is getting amazing by the second. How did you even manage to merge all of these themes and such so perfectly?
I'm glad you've branched off into doing something original. I think this REALLY does show how much of a talented creator you are, way more than the remixes ever did.

Festival Night act 2 has more gimmicks than in any other classic 2d sonic zone. There are the antigravity dealybobs from Carnival Night, the foreground and background changing of Metallic Madness, the spinning cups from Launch Base, and you can bet that there will be some fights with his past inventions, those being Star Light's boss, Casino Night's boss, and Press Garden's boss(albeit a new heavy shinobi that is remote-controlled by Robontik's DJ set). Transition: After dodging the last pinch laser that was meant for sonic, the music plays the death sound as Robotnik is defeated, not sonic. The crowd thinks this is a staged part of the show, and start clapping for sonic. However, what our heroes didn't notice was the next laser, a huge one from Tidal Tempest. Our heroes get blasted, but don't die. Because the lasers from Tidal Tempest push you, our heroes are flung to the next zone...
The transition makes the death sound effect at the end actually makes sense now! However this will mean they will have to loop the song perfectly until the boss, which means the act is timed??
@@SPEEDYDIM2 I dont think you have to kill something within 5 minutes, more like survive attacks for five minutes straight until the boss kills itself.
This still has to be my favorite song out of the original ones. The thing that gets me is how whacky and fitting it is for Eggman to have a DJ concert. I always loved that little nudge and comedic ways Eggman products are everywhere and that is how he gets his funding for making his evil plans. Plus, I think it would be hilarious to see Metal Sonic performing, Sonic seeing him, and it kicks off a bossfight introduction where Metal Sonic is trying to murder you while Eggman is still trying to make some sick beats as he tries to escape.
I’m over here making an original Unleashed inspired ice theme with a higher energy than Monster, and Niko over here remixing the best of the bad doctor with such a chill beat. Absolutely beautiful. Love when people sneak Metallic Madness into anything.

The checkpoints also don't work normally, Hitting a checkpoint will electrocute the Robo duo, Causing them to briefly forget where they were and take some time to get back to where they were, giving you enough time to get going and hurry up. All of the gimmicks from Act 1 are here and accounted for, but are expanded in some way to both help and hinder the player. Transition: As soon as you make it, our heroes crash the stage and take on a furious Eggman and Metal. Upon successfully beating the boss. Our heroes walk of the stage satisfied, while a humiliated Robotnik uses the Chaos Eye to fling our heroes over the Mountain Tops and into the next zone...
