Nice quick troubleshooting. Ive been watching a lot of your videos. You seem like a great tech, thank you for all the extra time to take us along for the ride
Good thing about them boards are, their are a few points you can ohm out and if it's bad your done. If that back board is bad, change the power board also because that's what took it out.
@@D2DNYAC That's what some people call even Mitsubishi, the noise filter board. Sorta like someone calling a thermostat a controller. However on that back board their is a resistor some where, when you ohm it out you should read 20. You don't it's bad period and that's usually because the power board took it out. Replace both.
Always look forward to your videos even though im not on that level yet ,i understand the megg was just a bit confused why did the voltage dropped from 250 to 0 and what would u expect to see if it was good ?

Thanks for watching my friend

👍
Thanks for the video from Florida
Thanks for watching my brother
The noise filter board in the back is a common PCB to fail. I have replaced them on units that are 10+ years old
Hmm I didn't see that on the schematics or wiring diagram!!!

Good question my friend , the test voltage would remain the same or have only a slight deviation lower if the compressor windings were good.
Regarding the voltage dropping from 250 to 0 you will need to know ohms law for that to make sense!
Okay, great stuff as usual my friend ,looking forward to the next one .
Awesome videos brother, that job looked like a pain in the ass! How high is that condenser rack?
Its on top of a 11 floor building and then add another floor or 2 for the platforms that was built on the roof for all the condensers
@@D2DNYAC gotta be a stud to do that work then keep up the good work, love your videos I watch them til the end.
