    Dimash is much more than his technique. He sings with his heart. A lot is said about him, which is born out of envy. If someone only watch a few of his appearances, can't say anything about him. I don't like soulless "artists" at all, of whom there are more than enough. In addition people of different cultures express themselves differently. Not everyone wants to show themselves like usual artists from the USA. Anyone who experiences Dimash live in his concerts feels and sees what makes him special as an artist. There is so much nonsense being claimed.

    • @mcflyjp
      @mcflyjp  ปีที่แล้ว

      I stayed that I disagree with that rhetoric and claimed it false and used evidence to back up why I think he (and Polyphia) show immense amount of soul.

    A vocal professor mentioned - For people who hasn’t trained the hearing in music like professionals or music enthusiasts it is sometimes impossible to follow the millions of shades in Dimashes vocals. They basically don’t hear the delicacy. It’s not bad you can train that. My husband had to hear e.g. SOS multiple time (he wanted to hear the same as I so he didn’t give up) Now he can hear the full spectrum of the voice and he is a fan of him.
    There is a nice story about Mozart and the Emperor of Austria: Joseph II told Mozart to eliminate lot of notes out of his composition because there would be to much notes - nobody could hear that 😂
    Love from Austria 🇦🇹

      I have a music degree and have been in and around music for over 20 years. So I can hear those delicacies that others can't. I think part of it she to do with not wanting to or judging Dimash from the surface and not seeing those intricacies. It's willful.

    He always sings with his heart and soul. There are so many songs like Ikanaide th-cam.com/video/8mM-bp5PB34/w-d-xo.html or Love Is Like A Dream th-cam.com/video/xLEQzfqO_l0/w-d-xo.html where he proves that. They are so emotional. And technically perfect. But that's not the most important thing.
    He's unbelievable.There is another awesome version of Diva Dance, but it's different. I love this performance. What fascinates me the most is, that he sang this song in his concert where he had already been on stage for almost 2 hours. Just unbelievabel🤯.
    It’s called Drunken Concubine and it is from the Shanghai Spring Festival Gala in China. He sings with Li Yugang, a great Chinese Opera singer who usually plays a female in classic Peking opera. He is a very famous singer in China. That's why he's trained to sing so high. This nasal singing is traditional and he is a very famous singer in China. The two harmonize so well together. It’s really fantastic. I love it and I’m sure you will like it, too🥰.

    Yeah that wiggle slide is beyond incredible. While I agree that this is as close to the original as possible, I actually prefer the Drunken Concubine duet better.
    He also has a fan cam where he does the entire song including the slower opera part but it was taken with someones phone. Not only poor angle but very blurry. Vocals are pretty good though.
    I understand what you are saying about Polyphia but I believe that it is more to do with the huge increase in human brain damage blocking emotive reception rather than less emotion in technically perfect music. I listen to Dimash most but Animals as Leaders is my second favorite artists.

      I think it's the lack of human emotion in general. When we lack the feeling of emotion ourselves it's hard for us to notice it in others.

    I don't understand the comments. If you recognize that it has perfect pitch, why use auto tune?
    there is some discrepancy there!!!

    • @mcflyjp
      @mcflyjp  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is clear autotune on some of his studio produced songs. And I said he doesn't need it. But production companies don't anyways without Artists consent time and time again. Part of the reason I hate the industry.

    • @mcflyjp
      @mcflyjp  ปีที่แล้ว

      Also perfect pitch doesn't mean hitting pitches perfectly. It means you can hear a note and immediately know the note being played.

  • @madamemim5728
    @madamemim5728 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I'm sorry, but your comment about perfection versus feeling upset me slightly. I know that you meant well. But in my opinion, you have proved the people who say that dimash is only technique without feeling right, and that is simply not true. Most singers just sing. Dimash lives every song. Look at Love is like a dream in Kremlin. Or Daididau (Bastau). A person who can barely hold back tears in some songs and actually only gets through the song BECAUSE he has just had 20 years of training is hardly an unfeeling singer.

    • @mcflyjp
      @mcflyjp  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Then you didn't listen to what I said at all I said I disagree with that notion highly and that he for sure shows emotion and puts his heart and soul into it.

  • @danielmarkiewicz8489
    @danielmarkiewicz8489 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    10:30 i know some people say he is 7 or even 8 octave man but this is not really true :) yes he can hit a note from 8th octave but it does not mean he can hit all notes from 8th octave and it does not mean he can go down to first octave. 5 octaves is crazy enough, with one more if you count for whistle notes :) what is most crazy for me is that there are songs composed just for his unique abilities, normally songs are not written for more then 2 octaves.

    • @mcflyjp
      @mcflyjp  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah technically he can hit notes in 8 octaves I guess would be the right way to word that.

    • @FanTributes
      @FanTributes ปีที่แล้ว

      Well said :) I say that too when I leave a comment describing Dimash's range to a reactor - "Dimash can fully sing in 5 octaves, and hit notes in ~7,2" (plus breaking it down by chest, mix, head access to what stretch of notes)

  • @kayhawkins5925
    @kayhawkins5925 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Being way too picky since its a very difficult song like Mariah Carey or any known singer can hit every single note perfectly. Dimash is as close to pefect as one can get and even the original dumb alien had computer help yet you picking over every little note like he can compete with computer aided sound. Give me a break. You set standards or expectations that even a computer doesn't compute

    • @mcflyjp
      @mcflyjp  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Where did I say anything bad about his singing?

    • @kayhawkins5925
      @kayhawkins5925 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@mcflyjp I never said you said anything bad about his singing. Comparing his notes to the original computerized version of an alien singing impossible notes yet the expectations that Dimash could put sing a synthesized computerized version, a standard beyond human feat. Dimash is as close as a human can get to this version.

    • @Snarky_Tart
      @Snarky_Tart ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@mcflyjp You didn't say anything bad. You also weren't "picking over every little note", nor did you ask if "he can compete with computer aided sound". When I notice a commenter criticizing a reactor for things the reactor did *not* even say, I assume the fault lies with bad translation software. "Give me a break" indeed 😂

    • @mcflyjp

      Ok just making sure LOL. A lot of people are complaining that I said he lacked emotion. On the contrary I explained how I think he sings with emotion and soul.
