OK, let's do this, apart from Matt's overacting british accent, what's so bad about this? yes, Matt can't cut good promos, and even me as a TNA fan says that, Matt should not cut promos, but at least this is way better than ICONICCCCCCCCC matt hardy, where he sounded like Stephanie mcmahom scolding the talent like they were naughty children. From an objective standpoint and as from someone with no real strong bias one way or the other that stumbled upon this video: Inconsistent editing (volume, stock music followed by poorly played followed by the same stock music, shot framing issues, inconsistencies between the placement of the "characters?" between shots), 4th wall introduction via talking directly into the camera followed by an immediate expectation of a 3rd party suspension of belief, unoriginal emulation of character quirks that come across as not being genuine, poor line delivery, poorly performed action choreography, forced "twist" that somehow coincidentally times itself to what is supposed to be a spontaneous challenge after the contract is signed, and a plan that boils down to "i'm going to bring him to the ring in my backyard with the randomly placed table to slam him on after I sign this contract" and ends there, also "the ring which it all ends.....in" which may be the most unintentionally hilarious thing i've ever heard. But I did get to see what a really bad goth william shatner impression would sound like, so there's that at least.
This is, and I don't think I'm over exaggerating here, the greatest thing in the history of Matt Hardy's career.
SO many have missed the point of this video. It's campy, awesome wrestling fun. It's meant to be cringey and entertaining, I'm glad they're having fun.
