I absolutely hate how the things Vietnamese soilders did are always pointed out but the horrors the americans commited are always glossed over. That is how history repeats itself. They commit an atrocity and kill thousands of innocent people, say none of it was their fault and the people they attacked are to blame, and in a decade or so it's completely forgotten about. They find a new victim, rinse and repeat. I'm not from Vietnam, but I am from Serbia. A country that was just bombed by America. No reason at all. Multiple times. 76 days and nights of NATO bombing and we literally did nothing. And we're labeled terrorists and cold-hearted people. They are seriously fucked up and shitty towards those they know are weaker than them. Basically they just want to satisfy their massive ego and take it out on those who can't defend themselves, and when it starts damaging them, they immidiately pull out. If Russia was smaller and weaker, they would have already bombed it to oblivion but they're scared to do anything because Russia also has bombs and they don't want any consenquences for their horrible actions. I fucking hate all of them and their stupid narcissistic games to see who can attack more defenseless countries and put the blame on the people they attacked. They are assholes that shouldn't be allowed to hold such power, yet they do. They tell lies. Some are obvious, but some they have ingraved in society and it's basically accepted as common fact.
Edit: I don't support communism nor capitalism. I don't support the extreme left nor the extreme right. I only support treating people like fucking people and not stereotyping an entire country as evil and shitty and erasing their culture just because you don't like them.

I am from USA and I felt like crying after this. The fact that we think we are a big, strong, and awesome country just hides the horrible things we did. I was born in 2010 and I am currently 12 and a half. I am very interested in history so learning about how America isn’t always a winner is extremely interesting. Personally, I think at a young age we are thought that we are winners and always #1 . I haven’t learned about the Vietnam war because I think they are trying to hide it, or I’ll learn more about next year when I study American history. We have killed countless civilians from many countries for no reason. I wish was was just fought in battle fields , not in public. I don’t like war in general, or at all. I wish we could live in a world with no bad-ness if that makes sense. Sadly that isn’t possible.
Facts
I mean like I’m Vietnam war the American troop don’t know where there enemy is even worse who it was I don’t support American kill innocent people at all but it just that the American are clueless about what they doing in the battle well let just say that back in ww2 when the American are trying to help the injured Japanese for some reason the Japanese kill himself along with the American by using hand grenade and that the reason why the American kill the Japanese troop with no mercy it because they don’t trust them and that is the similar situation in Vietnam war but the Vietcong troop blend themselves as a normal civilian and they tricked the American to think that they are just a normal civilian but they attack them and the Vietcong use a tunnel rat against the American and even in the village there is a tunnel underneath as well and they also hide in the village as well to catch the American surprise and yeah the the reason for that genocide.
I'm also from the US and the only bit of the Vietnam War that I've learned about(so far) was from a poetry book that I read in 6th grade. But the main character was a refugee from South Vietnam so I never learned much from the perspective of the North, besides from how the war effected the main character's family like how she was waiting for her father but never came.

I live in America, I was born in 2009 and I’m currently 12. Honestly that is terrible.. I feel really bad about everything that happened even though i was never involved :( I have a Vietnamese friend who lives a couple houses away from me, I don’t think she knows about this war. She’s really nice though and she looks very pretty.

It’s sad for what we did during the wars. I genuinely feel bad for the people that died in it, not like I had the power to do anything.. I wish every bad thing that goes on between countries disappears, without any crying or deaths. I know that my country has done plenty bad things, but people take that as an advantage. That saddens me. We don’t like it that way, hardly any of us ever liked to fight another country and hurt others. I just hope we can all get along one day ❤️ (And sorry for the losses of any of your family members, friends, people you care about really’ deaths. They didn’t deserve to be killed in such a terrible way.)
I'm Vietnamese and I can see all the suffering that we Vietnamese people go through, it's so sad, but my teacher once said that the war is over, but that obsession will stay in the minds of Vietnamese people. I'm so sad 😣😔

I was thinking of jumping off a balcony at one time
I had these thoughts runnning through my head just like the man
But I tried my best to get through it as a young child at that time and knew my mother and father would go through complete sadness.
I got through it myself at 5 years old I believe
I did need help sometimes by comfort but I lied and said I was crying about somthing else
I can relate to the man in many ways.
By the way just so you know i am still a young child and I’ve been through all of this

O feel very bad about the situation
I’ve felt how it feels to lose someone close to you and this really puts me to grief seeing the backstory and it all
I can’t say or type how much this made my eyes tear up

It just brings me to my knees to cry
Again,I feel terribly sorry about what happened in that situation
The man shouldn’t have been called a monster
I can bet that the person was very guilty after saying that when he shaved him
He corrected his mistakes in the right way
I can relate to the so called “grandfather” because I lost some of my family as well
My grandfather, as a younger person he was everything to me and he did die

Honestly, I had only heard mentions of the Vietnam War, (I'm from Argentina and the few mentions I've heard were at school) and didn't think much about it. It's sad how you usually get to know one side of the story and the rest stays hidden.

I actually have to point this out. I really really hate the fact that the bad things we did are always pointed out while the bad things the other country did like USA are glossed over, saying that 'It's not their fault' or that kind of bullshit. And when they learn that Vietnam is a Socialist (Ruled by CPV which stands for Communist Party of Vietnam) they think Vietnam is terrible and all the downsides of communism and think we are the stereotype. Just to let you know, I'm Vietnamese with partial Chinese ancestry. I wish that history wouldn't repeat itself like this, but it's the truth, we have to deal with it but remember to stand up for what is right.

@@mariasadaria phương pháp học của mình mất 5 năm để đạt cảnh giới đọc gì hiểu đấy và bạn cần phải nhớ những câu nhưng từ chẳng hạng mình thì giỏi cả lịch sử khoa học thui nên mình chỉ tìm và học thôi còn những từ mình sử dụng hàng ngày là mình xem video video của TH-camr nước Anh và Mỹ 180p nên mới có =)
