The sandworm is STRAIGHT from Dune
sandworms were implemented in games around year 2004 so you are incorrect

Dune was written in the 60s, the first Dune game was in the early 90s.

I like the white outlines. The first game has very harsh contrasts, which can quickly make everything seem cluttered and be pretty exhausting. This looks rather pleasant compared to that.
The music is good. The gameplay is certainly different enough to warrant a sequel title. Clearly a lot of work has gone into it. I can't wait to see how the skills work.
There's some stuff I'm skeptical on. I think the perspective and white outline is going to bring it more areas of visual blockage.
But I'm am eager to admit I was wrong when I actually get my hands on the game. I'll be waiting.

This really adds everything I wished for the first game. Far expanded the rougelike elements and replayability
