    Great stuff, P&O is different to lines that have an app so I thought you explained that well.
    The different types of fares are also something that can confuse newer P&O customers and that was made very clear too 👍

    Pedantry time, sorry 😅 an emergency medical evacuation by helicopter from the ship would be performed by the recieving nations coastguard and would not incur a cost. However, a course change or unscheduled port visit would be charged as would an eye-wateringly expensive medical repatriation plane after you return to land. So yes always always get proper cruise insurance!

      Thanks for watching! We were trying to keep things simple for the video, but it’s not just the cost of the helicopter that you need to think about in this scenario. You’ll be charged for the care you’ve received up to that point and if you aren’t then in your home country you’ll have care costs and a return home to think about 🙂
