Joe posts a video talking about downstreaming, hour later Herb posts a video about downstreaming. Hmmm 😜 Lucky for me you both are my favorite channels!
Hi I just bought some eliminator from Lori at pressure washer products in Clearwater. You mentioned you used a half ounce per gallon to make rinsing easier. If I do the same thing in my bleach tank how long can the illuminator sit in the bleach without having issues with it coagulating?week or 2??? Thanks man love your content.
I Asked Joe this and I’ll ask you as well. On the vinyl siding weep holes do you have many complaints or callbacks with the dirty water oozing from the weep holes onto the clean siding? Thanks.
I had a few complaints when I used to inadvertently spray into the joints of overlapped siding. Now I always try to spray with the overlapped joints of the siding to prevent as much water from getting behind the siding as possible. Hopefully that makes sense and helps you out
@@tonycalabrese8438 yes Tony, thanks, it makes total sense. I must pay attention to the way the siding pieces overlap each other: left over right as opposed to right over left.
How are you drawing chemicals with a large power washer in downstreaming? I built a similar machine but haven't been able to draw any chemical through it. What's your machine stats?
@@allproexteriorservicesllc5338 I used the check valve setup as you have. Works fantastic with my 4GPM, but my bigger machine is pulling like 11GPM of water and I wasn't able to draw anything. I used a 2.5GP Injector trying to match the GPMs. Was that a mistake?
Appreciate the videos, Herb. Do you use one circuit breaker for each reel or one circuit breaker for all the reels? Is it a 50 amp or 75 amp breaker? Thanks.
This might be a dumb question, but does the tape ever leave a sticky residue that is noticeable? I like the idea of taping like you, just trying to think ahead of any problems
We have not had any problems with residue. However, we only use masking tape unless it is brick. Also, remember to wipe around the plugs when you remove the tape. Thanks
Your videos really help me. I like the way you present the information. It’s real world. Thanks. How many gpm is your machine? This video makes a good case for house washing with a pressure washer.
Ive done houses just like that with nothing but my Simpson 4400psi/4 gpm machine, 100 feet of hose, solution, and an XJet. In fact ive done them all like that. And ill do em like that aaaaall day long. It blows me away how everyone's so obsessed with the trucks 'n trailers thing. Gotta have a truck! Gotta have that trailer! Why? So how"s that finicky Hyundai engine working out for you? How much insurance you pay on that trailer every month? And how much do you pay the bank for all of that? I own my gear outright. MY gear is MINE, not the Man's. I started doing this out of a sub-compact Hyundai Accent. Made it ALL fit. (Had to take the passenger seat out and remove the wheels from the machine to make it fit) Now i have a somewhat more spaçious Chevy HHR.
Jeffrey, thanks for the comment. We do not borrow any money from anyone. We own all of our equipment out right and I self insure my trailer. If we cannot afford to buy it, then we don't need it. There is always multiple ways to wash a house, but we focus on efficiency. BTW, the Honda has been working great & 10 GPM is very efficient for what we do. Thanks
Great job! Lots of info in the video! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks

Hard to get anything done with the rain. Thanks
Good video brother! Efficient process let’s your maximize your day and profits.

Herb are you going to have to evacuate? Prayers for all you folks down there. Be safe!!!
Not as of now. Thanks for checking & the prayers!!
Just beautiful results! 💪🏽🫡
Nice video!
I watched you flip a valve to only pull sh. How were you able to get water in the very next clip
I flipped the valve on the bypass valve. The remote box turns the solution on then off to rinse. Thanks
Thank you for the info great video! What remote do you use
I built my own. Thanks th-cam.com/video/DWG8io8MRNw/w-d-xo.html
Amazing video! What is that shooter tip called that you’re using? And is it good to use it for a 3200psi 2.5G on machine?
We were using the M5twist. You may be able to find one online to fit your GPM. Thanks
Did you find one?
Does anyone know where to get the exact 1/4 T valve he uses to choose water or SH at 4:28 ? Thanks for any info
You can get them from Pressure Washer Products. Thanks

You should not have any problems. I have surfactant in my SH tanks for a couple of weeks without any issues. Thanks
How do you like the electric reels? Do you connect it to the softwash battery?
I love the electric reels. I wired it to the same battery for my pressure washer & soft wash pump. Thanks
If you want a hotter mix how would get it?
We have been using the AR45 with a proportioner to wash houses. I can turn the mix up if needed. Thanks
Is your downstream and Proportioner connected together if so how do I do that
No, they are separate. Thanks

I feel like 2.1 injector at 4gpm doesn't drawl enough 12.5% sh. 😢
The 2.1 injector on the 4 GPM worked perfectly us when we used it. Maybe try the 1.8 but be careful around plants. Thanks
Can u link a 1.8 chemical injector that would work for 4pgm. Each one I see is rated for 2-3pgm.
What kind are you using in this vid
so no 12v .. now im debating on just doing downstreaming
I found that down streaming is a lot more efficient than using a 12 volt for house washing. Thanks
Still need a 12v system for roof washing if you’re doing that. can’t achieve those 6% mixes w a downstream system I don’t think.

What percent of sh is your downstream putting out.?
About 1.2% with the 1.8 injector. Thanks
What % of sh would you think ur DS
10-12%. Thanks
About how much bleach is used for a job that size?
About 3-4 gallons. Thanks
