Awesome, I got the pinball bug a year ago and got a Godzilla pro. Be careful, I just got a new (old) pin and the hobby gets addicting 😅 Love the retro vids, hopefully you are going to make more pin vids in the future!

Great video. I did 7 mods to my Godzilla premium. I would recommend art blades, shaker motor, shooter lane fix and shooter lane protector.

The first thing I would buy would be a shooter lane protector. The wood is very soft there and a divit will form very quickly.

Congratulations on your first physical machine Michael, Like you my love for pinball exploded when I got my first virtual machine I built myself at home. After that I was addicted, vpx table after another, playing all the time, I eventually bought my first real table as well. I'm blessed to be young with no children and a very good job and have built my collection to six machines now haha.
Godzilla was my absolute favorite table between me and the lady until we got our Foo Fighters Premium, The Tower mech is one of the most impressive mechs to be released on a table in a long time and Keith Elwin did an absolute amazing job on the design of the playfield.
It really is an amazing first choice especially in the premium model.

So far I think Spooky has knocked it out of the park with Looney Tunes and Texas Chainsaw this year. I don't own a table yet but to spend that $$$ I really would consider buying a spooky brand new. I also just really want South Park for the nostalgia-
This is why Vpin is a good thing for pinball. It introduces people to it at an affordable price and if they fall in love, they eventually buy the real thing. Or at least go out and play the real thing.
Greetings Michael. First of all, congratulations with your Godzilla Premium. Funny enough I am walking the same path as you. One thing u might be looking into, is about the Coil Stops. Once u see Metal Or gold dust/flakes inside your cabinet. You might wanna replace them asap. It seems Stern is using bad stops lately.

My dream machine is the Medieval Madness remake. I wanted to buy one years ago but I had other financial obligations. I hear that another production run will be built this year, and I don't care if I have to take out a loan or something, I'm buying it.

Forget the topper, shaker motor is a must. Pinwoofer speakers and amp really lifted the audio. Oh and the stock Godzilla can be easily swapped out for the neca 1956 movie poster figure.
Hi I have the pinwoofer in my premium also. I like it but the only thing I do not like is no matter how I adjust it the knocker sound that comes through the two speakers is nowhere as loud as it used to be. It is very soft. Is yours the same way?
@@Rich_Ice I can’t remember if mine changed as I fitted the pinwoofer shortly after I got the machine. Mine has a real knocker I got from pinball life. I think my neighbours could probably hear it now lol!
I was lucky enough to have a quick play on one of these when I went on that local pin crawl event, and from that quick go it seems like quite an enjoyable table. Like you my Arcade1Up Attack from Mars virtual pinball is one of my most played items in my game room, and I really do enjoy the pinball events I am lucky to have in my area (there really are a lot of pinball enthusiasts here). There is even a Foo Fighters delivery party at someones house next week!
I will get a real pinball at some stage in the future I just need to get caught up in some of my other projects. But my intention is put aside all the money from my next book towards my first one. And yeah I will have to clear out some items to make room.
Must have mods are side blades and a shaker motor...Other than that, just save your $$ for your 2nd pin
I have a killer 32" vpinball setup with 24" backglass display. Considering going 43" but my office has only so much space. My cab has different versions of Godzillaaaaa! If got a real cab, that would be the one. That, or Elvira Scared Stiff.

When I bought my first pin, the guy I bought it from said “Congratulations, it won’t be your last.” Sure as sh!t, a few months later I bought my 2nd. So from me to you…congratulations, it won’t be your last.
Player one in toronto has been around forever. They were great to deal with. I was paranoid about shipping damage and just spent the extra money on a Uhaul van and picked my machine up. I think it's a bad idea to go into debt on a pin. Temping but this is a luxury not a need like a vehicle.

Not the best "value" at all. CCr is a good game but its a remake of the original game which was Williams very last pin they ever made. It was also never completed and the code was unfinished. CGC remade it, completed the code and its a fantastic game but... there is always a but, CCr is not a great "home pin". Its a 90s pin designed for coinop use as a money maker so the shots and code are not meant to be played endless at home. The trick with buying pins is once its in your house, the overwhelming majority of pins get BORING within a week or so. CCr falls into that category. Godzilla on the other hands is PERFECT for home use. Easy to play, difficult to master.
Only reason I don't have one is the wife. Congrats!

Wassup with the trend of these youtuber Influencer buying Stern Pinball: Cooltoys, KONG, now MB...do you guys get a big discount to advertise Stern?
IEN I wish that was true, If you have some kind of hookup let me know because I would love a second table. I can't speak for Cooltoy or Kong but I didn't get any kind of discount nor have i ever heard from anyone at Stern. Only person I have ever known who said he might get a demo table from Stern is GameRoomTheater who also has received some 1Ups for free from the company who is a massive Instagram and Tik Tok influencer, not us smaller channels
Don't forget counsel kits! I love it spreading the word and more content for me selfishly. I've been giving tips to them when I can. Is Jaws foreshadowing your next game, @MichaelBtheGamegenie??
Also there are a couple ways I know of to get discounts from Stern pinball. Either be in the top 1000 of the IFPA ranks or become the biggest mover in the IFPA ranks for a single month. However you hafta wait awile to get those games. Don't worry about the top 100 GDZ will be back to number 1 on Sunday night at midnight that's kinda how it works. The owners come in hot and then they get beat down a little. My guess is top 5 for Foo as a settling point.
None of these guys are getting sponsored. Pinball in general is going through a MASSIVE renaissance right now. There are tournaments, leagues, barcades and breweries all stacked with pins all over North America today. Lots .. I mean LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTS of pinheads are buying pins for home use and building real home arcades with real machines, not pressed-wood toys for a few hundred bucks like A1U. The trend of YTers buying pins is literally a reflection of the market craze right now. Stop and think for a second, these YTers who've spent a few years building channels that are tied to cheap home arcade toys are getting tired of these pressed wood toys. They are now making advertising money residuals on their channels and the idea of buying a $9k (USD) real deal pinball machine is a natural evolution for all of these guys on YT. Nobody out there is buying all these A1U arcades and looking at their rooms like, "Yep this looks amazing" after a year. This would be like guys out there buying gokarts, running gokart YT channels and eventually saying outloud, "You know what, I think I want a real race car." So when they go out and buy/build a track car it seems very natural but all you've been doing previous was just masquerading. You start seeing all the money you've dumped into cheap knock off products that you could sell to buy a few authentic options. To be completely honest, generations of "gamers" are simply tired of video games in general now. Decades of consoles, PC games, shooters, side scrollers, RTS... almost every video game experience that comes out today, tomorrow or next year is identical. For many people pinball is a new discovery. Simple gaming, geometry and high score matters. The simplicity of the concept that pinball represents gives an exhausted industry a spark.
Get used to pinball content, its going to continue to become more mainstream.
