If someone said to me " what video would inspire you to want to fall in love so truly and wholly?" ....this would be my answer. It is a masterpiece on every single level.
Agreed! I was blown away by Brokeback Mountain but that film was more dramatic and symbolic and I am sure Ang Lee's style made it so. This film was so understated (almost the opposite of Brokeback) and a bit like a documentary. I moved to London when I was 18 in 1978 so I felt close to the characters and identified with them. The actors were brilliant and yes, I cried at the end too. Tom Cullen is amazing.

I always want to see them together, but most gay films like Frieu Fall. They always have sad endings. A wonderfall movie, if you have not seen it I recommend it.
