@Loser i think it’s not super hard to learn these languages as a HongKonger. Ofc Ik it’s hard tho. We learn English at 3 yrs old and mandarin at 7yrs old at school ,at least 3 languages are learned already. Korean and Japanese are quite similar to Cantonese and Mandarin. So I think that’s why she understands 5 languages🥰

@@junodovah2323 cantonese is definitely very difficult but not impossible just have to learn how to get the tones correctly. Mandarin only uses about 4 tones i believe but cantonese can use up to 9 and getting the pitch in tones is also very important lol it sounds scary but I've met plenty of english speakers who can speak better canto than i can 😅 it's all in practice!
Cantonese sounds mad even if the one speaking is calm and happy... it sounds like speaking angrily to an annoying neighbor xD Vivi is just soft spoken lol!

Mainly from my mother's side, my family speaks Cantonese and Mandarin. I get sad when I can only understand snippets and keywords, but it's so fun when idols speak languages I hear in my daily life.
