What I'd forgotten is that the couple BOTH lip sync to a man's voice. Mind, supermarket's own brand bran flakes are also tasty and usually much cheaper. Whereas Kelloggs' are pricey, pricey, very very pricey.
This is one of my favourite ads of the 80s. It’s genius. The whole thing (bar a couple of studio shots of the bowl) is clearly filmed handheld on an approx 10x4 foot balcony but they vary the shot angles both horizontally and vertically, use manual tracking zooms and edit according to the beat of the jingle and the movement within each frame spectacularly well to give a seamless overall flow and cinematic feel. Maybe I’ve been watching it too much.
