The famous bridge at San Joanicho, tacloban city of leyte had become iconic until now. Durable construction. It did not move after Yolanda. Will remain in use for a lifetime. Aquino's just built statues like in palapag shown on your previous vlogs. And it's just a normal road, she constructed, cos the budget went to her statue.

I disagree to how you define patriotism. Speaking in English does not mean that someone is less Filipino. We have different dialects in the Philippines, not all people speaks Tagalog, therefore other people speaks English. Plus, if you speak in English, you have more chances to move forward in life. Currently, in order to do global transactions , we all need to speak English to be able to conform.

How I wish the government succeeded Marcos government continued the infrastructure projects, not politicized and made corruption become rampant and scattered in the national and local government that made poverty flourish. Siguro maganda at well developed na ang Pilipinas and hinde punong puno ng slum area at informal settlers ang Manila at nearby cities. Sana infrastructures were continued at ginawan ng organized housing project ang mga tao siguro ang Manila ay parang Venice na maganda ang mga bahay at building near the body of water kasi ang Manila has Pasig River kasama na ang mga estero that passes and connect to nearby city. I hope the build build build infrastructure projects of the Duterte administration will be continued by the next government and not be corrupted to make the economy recover and for the country to become a progressive State.

He is showing a fact that forcefully want to be erased by others...there is no perfect President nor its govt....BUT for those who have done more and left it useful even when he has gone...iyon ang mas tumatatak sa maraming common na tao..iyong pag abuso ng martial law, they have happened ...just that maliit lang siguro na porsiyento to the point na di sila nararamdaman ng marami...dahil ako i was born in the martial law era, di ko naman iyon naramdaman ...to the point that life would becomes miserable to us,but im also thankful that it had ended. Or else there will be no change to taste a better governance and govt in the future. Cory did not left much a legacy to boost that is a fact. She was famous, religious,kind but it is only a little portion in the overall governance. Wala siyang vision. She was just praying and incorporate the Chatolic church to have power in politics too...while Marcos producies cronies that resulted to political dynasties ,Cory on the hand produces oligarchs that crippled the nation's economy by vesting it on those chosen few.... Gloria was a hardworking president but her time was more of image and hypocrisy,marred with many controversies that begins with her, her hypocrite husband down to their children. Erap was shortterm so he did not left much a legacy but can be remembered for changing the image of NFA rice to have it equal with good rice but cheap...Ramos time was more on his trips abroad in the guise of inviting investors, together with his family...and left a legacy also of controversy. Pinoy's was a bit better off. He increased our GDP but our PEACE and Order was as it worst that even elementary pupils can buy shabu just anywhere. It is his time that every barangay of the whole country from rural to urban, from rich to poor, from common citizens to high ranking officials, from govt to private institution are infiltrated with drugs...these are facts also...felt and seen by every one....Duterte? Inspite his imperfections,he becomes the game changing President...it is something that i see and observe...those who were affected by the change, dont want to see it nor hear it...that is also a fact...he is just saying up that vote, kung may available na candidate, for someone who has a vision to improve the basic services of our country and give the common people a better life...so it must be someone who is sincere but also has a brain and have a vision with the end in mind.

I am appreciative of all the positive things that our past presidents have/had done for this country, and I do hope that their mistakes will not be repeated by the future leaders. If all commenters use their common sense like you do, then we can probably have the right President to lead us. But as I said, we cannot base BBM’s qualifications on the achievements of his father because he is not his father. Being an excellent speaker does not guarantee that he can/will be a great leader. I prefer someone who walks the talk-someone whose achievements are obvious to all.

Some sectors are experts in magnifying the "bad"things about the Marcos years but never mentioned the massive infrastructure projects he started and completed. The famous bridge at San Joanicho, tacloban city of leyte had become iconic until now. Durable construction. It did not move after Yolanda. Will remain in use for a lifetime. Aquino's just built statues like in palapag shown on your previous vlogs. And it's just a normal road, she constructed, cos the budget went to her statue.

As I already told you, I am French, living in Belgium and at my point of view, it is always intersting to hear about History, bu not only by the European or American point of view. As you may know seen from Western countries President Marcos and successors are very often seen as corrupted governants, but my way is different, even if maybe some bad things occured sometimes, some other very good things happened by these times and it is always good to also have this ""other"" point of view. I disagree to how you define patriotism. Speaking in English does not mean that someone is less Filipino. We have different dialects in the Philippines, not all people speaks Tagalog, therefore other people speaks English. Plus, if you speak in English, you have more chances to move forward in life. Currently, in order to do global transactions , we all need to speak English to be able to conform.

Good job! A very good presentation. How I wish the government succeeded Marcos government continued the infrastructure projects, not politicized and made corruption become rampant and scattered in the national and local government that made poverty flourish. Siguro maganda at well developed na ang Pilipinas and hinde punong puno ng slum area at informal settlers ang Manila at nearby cities. Sana infrastructures were continued at ginawan ng organized housing project ang mga tao siguro ang Manila ay parang Venice na maganda ang mga bahay at building near the body of water kasi ang Manila has Pasig River kasama na ang mga estero that passes and connect to nearby city. I hope the build build build infrastructure projects of the Duterte administration will be continued by the next government and not be corrupted to make the economy recover and for the country to become a progressive State.

He is showing a fact that forcefully want to be erased by others...there is no perfect President nor its govt....BUT for those who have done more and left it useful even when he has gone...iyon ang mas tumatatak sa maraming common na tao..iyong pag abuso ng martial law, they have happened ...just that maliit lang siguro na porsiyento to the point na di sila nararamdaman ng marami...dahil ako i was born in the martial law era, di ko naman iyon naramdaman ...to the point that life would becomes miserable to us,but im also thankful that it had ended. Or else there will be no change to taste a better governance and govt in the future.
Cory did not left much a legacy to boost that is a fact. She was famous, religious,kind but it is only a little portion in the overall governance. Wala siyang vision. She was just praying and incorporate the Chatolic church to have power in politics too...while Marcos producies cronies that resulted to political dynasties ,Cory on the hand produces oligarchs that crippled the nation's economy by vesting it on those chosen few....
Gloria was a hardworking president but her time was more of image and hypocrisy,marred with many controversies that begins with her, her hypocrite husband down to their children. Erap was shortterm so he did not left much a legacy but can be remembered for changing the image of NFA rice to have it equal with good rice but cheap...Ramos time was more on his trips abroad in the guise of inviting investors, together with his family...and left a legacy also of controversy. Pinoy's was a bit better off. He increased our GDP but our PEACE and Order was as it worst that even elementary pupils can buy shabu just anywhere. It is his time that every barangay of the whole country from rural to urban, from rich to poor, from common citizens to high ranking officials, from govt to private institution are infiltrated with drugs...these are facts also...felt and seen by every one....Duterte? Inspite his imperfections,he becomes the game changing President...it is something that i see and observe...those who were affected by the change, dont want to see it nor hear it...that is also a fact...he is just saying up that vote, kung may available na candidate, for someone who has a vision to improve the basic services of our country and give the common people a better life...so it must be someone who is sincere but also has a brain and have a vision with the end in mind.

I am appreciative of all the positive things that our past presidents have/had done for this country, and I do hope that their mistakes will not be repeated by the future leaders. If all commenters use their common sense like you do, then we can probably have the right President to lead us. But as I said, we cannot base BBM’s qualifications on the achievements of his father because he is not his father. Being an excellent speaker does not guarantee that he can/will be a great leader. I prefer someone who walks the talk-someone whose achievements are obvious to all.
