This is a casual guide to get you going in the right direction and thinking about the right things for the most part.
Hope it helps you and shows you things you either didn't know or improves the things you're currently doing.
I don't cover absolutely EVERYTHING about Mirio here, I'll leave that to others, but as far as for right now, this should get a lot of you a bit sharper than you currently are for your matches!

Players steal my items and when I take a item that's actually mine they rage at me
The one thing I realized playing Lemillion is that you have to be Lemillion playing him, it’s all about predicting and using the element of surprise they hand to you on a silver platter, only complaint is I wish they’d make his alpha hitbox a little bigger and more consistent there are times I’ll hit someone dead center and I’d wiff pass them overall very fun

Man that's the big issue with him right now... I can't seem to hit a single person with that Alpha
I think some people don't know that you can hear when a Mirio is near you as he's using his beta. You can't see tell he's exact location but you know he's around so he doesn't take you on by surprise

Not if you're playing with a decent headset. You can hear the direction of footsteps, abilities, voice lines, and mirio's beta

One thing in this game than I love, is he is very immersive, like when you play shoto you feel like this is the style of shoto fight in anime, same thing to ida, bakugo, now mirio and very others characters

Sett boy you can try doing 2 non-charged alphas into 2 melees into other 2 alphas and then gamma next if you wanna use it for damage.
You can also lend some alphas after you hit someone with the beta

The one thing I don't get is how to combo the alpha, like how you did at 3:55 I never had the power thing done, usually when I use the alpha my charges go down or I go far away from the guy I've just hit, is it mashing the alpha button or something I don't get ?

Yessir I see u using the combo I mentioned!! Another one I’ve seen is, alpha but stop after the second hit. Then hit 2 basics then go back into the alpha. It does pretty good damage.
Another good video from Tip Guy Settanno. If I played this game, I would take all of these tips and implement them poorly the first 50 times.

He reminds me of aizawa when he released and how he takes skill to use and how day one he is fun to use but inconsistent and could use a few tweaks

I didn't even wanted to get mirio i wanted twice or endeavor but after 4 multi rolls trying to get one of those two i got mirio and im not complaining. :)
No joke I land his alpha max 5 times a match 😅 If you think about it though it’s just like the anime. Mirio can’t see when he activates his quirk, so it’s all about prediction. Same goes for the beta. Pretty cool!

Mirio’s really awesome, just for me so dang hard to hit lol. Also pro tip, if you aim well enough the more center they are to your beta when you hit them, the easier it is to combo after such as you can hit 2 alphas or ofcourse the ever so reliable gamma
Beta into alpha, alpha into gamma is a crazy combo guaranteed guard break and then some.
Yo set if you zoom in and use your special you will kinda teleport to your teammates

seettttanoooooo, i noticed his uppercut beta to alpha combo depends on where you hit the enemy. Right under will shoot enemy up above you thus making it harder to land your alpha, so you should always try to not hit directly on their character.

Thanks for the tips as always bro! I’ll have to give the charged alpha a try. I don’t do that much, but I can see how that little extra time could help you line up your aim better. I’ve haven’t been charging since you can’t do the 4 hit combo with that, but it doesn’t really matter when I miss 4 out 5 alphas😂
And the comment about the devs having a button installed to make things instantly go wrong for you gave me an idea. The devs must watch you a lot since they are always nerfing specifically your mains (you must’ve been cleaning up as Bakugo and Momo too much🤣they’re trying to even the playing field for the rest of us lol). So maybe you need to try to main Ida and Toga for a bit and see if the devs finally nerf them🤣🤣
defo implement the charged alpha more - stronger single hit + can get multiple people if fortunate enough!
and hahaha yes, that might have to be the way we do things from now on 😂 RIP to my momo and bakugo of s1, 2 and 3. speaking of, tho, will have a fun set of momo matches on a vid in the near future, so i think you will enjoy the display of her there!

They just need to take some of the hard lock on twice has and give just a percent of it to mirio alpha. Haven't played him yet but I'm sure he's just harder to play on console

yeah it's fun, i played solo game mode before in s2 or 3, i think it was, so i am familiar with it - but i have not tried it this season yet

nah i do like him, it's just hard to find the time, opportunity and schedule to fit all these videos in! 😂 i don't think it'll be for a few days as some other vids are on the docket, but i will try to get to him as soon as i can

good thinking - also you can reverse engineer the tips to try and deal with mirio players better too
how do you do the chain attack he does with his alpha?
alpha + turn to look at your opponent again + alpha and repeat
probably the first character in the game where it's good that he doesn't work properly. If his alpha has more consistent damage, if you weren't able to dodge out of his beta, & if his gamma actually kept you out of it then he'd be the most broken character in the game

if you want an OP character, no. he is quite janky and unreliable currently - but still fun in general, just difficult to get the most out of.
if you don't care about any of that stuff and are a mirio fan, then yes, roll for him since you will just be happy to use him in general
