I recommend the Classic NES Series version of NES Pac-Man for the GBA because the GBA version of NES Pac-Man saves your high scores. Pac-Man Collection, Namco Museum, Namco Museum: 50th Anniversary and the Game Boy and Game Boy Color-related Pac-Man games will not save your progress. Plus, the original NES version of Pac-Man will not save your high scores, which sucks.
Q. Bored and my mind is racing great. A. You have English in your mind racing so you are bored. You haven't figured out yet that you can make all English in your mind totally silent by will while awake yet but you can with practice of seven second intervals. With gaps of no English in your mind for seven seconds a few times each day soon your mind will be totally silent 24/7 as your natural state. The reason you don't already know that is because you are young.
Why would people buy this one game when they can get the Pac-Man Collection and even Namco Museum and Namco Museum 50th Anniversary on the same handheld instead?
As someone who owns this game, as well as Pac-Man Collection, Namco Museum, and Namco Museum 50th Anniversary on GBA, my answer is: I like Pac-Man. And small nitpick, Pac-Man is not on Namco Museum for GBA; Ms. Pac-Man is, though. One of the odd cases where Pac-Man got left out.
I prefer NES Classic Series: Pac-Man over Pac-Man Collection's Pac-Man for a few reasons. One, I love the NES version of Pac-Man. Two, Pac-Man Collection doesn't save your high score while this does. Three, Pac-Man Collection only gives you full screen which looks nothing like the original and a zoomed in version which does resemble the original, while NES Classic Series: Pac-Man has the same screen ratio AND quality of graphics as NES Pac-Man.
@@ProudEdits4U While that's fair you have your preference, let me say a counterargument: While Pac-Man Collection doesn't let you save your high score, it does offer not only the (in my opinion) superior arcade versions, you get 3 other great Pac-Man games with it. Yes original Pac-Man zoomed out doesn't look as good but it still looks and plays like classic Pac-Man. As someone who has this GBA Classic NES Series version and Pac-Man Collection, I do like the NES version, I just prefer Collection.
Then Tengen port was just a quick and dirty port of the 1984 Famicom Pac-Man, released a few years later in the US. Namco would re-release it themselves, under their own Namco label.
If you want to play Pac-Man on GBA, play the version on Namco Museum 50th Anniversary on scrolling mode. It's the best version.

I have this on GBA with Namco museum Advance, Pacman Collection Advance and Namco Museum DS, Good arcade game
Arcade version is much harder and more beautiful than the NES one. I can say the same about Popeye
pinky isn't even colored pink
its a fucking NES the hardware does not allow richer colors.

You can use pre-defined patterns to beat Pac-Man.
