Ive just changed the head gasket on the Little Blue Tractor I thought it would be good if I ran it too and from work this week before giving it a service and polish before the show season.
really impressed how well it runs from the start, like it runs perfectly smooth. Mine has a rebuilt engine and still goes up and down with the revs all the time...
They were a great little tractor when I was young dad had a little Dexter it came in from England he bought it of John Balff out the lanes Borough road out of roscommon he later traded it in to Claude lions in Brierfield for a 135 the Dexta came out of a convent in England it had a timber made cab with a sliding door it's reg was ODI 982 love to know is it still going it was spotless when it left our yard
Have had no work on my dads Super Dexta. He bought it in 1964 and has done a heap of work around the property in Australia. Now I’m retired, I’m having it fully restored. It has factory spacers to lift the mud flaps both sides of the drivers seat. Not sure if i should remove them?
Best of the Fordsons and the last .
Had one in Ireland and loved it.
