Hi. Great video. Q?: How and when would I collect funds from sponsors? I want all sponsor funds in and paid before the event day. What is the norm? What do sponsors expect? I would like 50% down on signing agreement of sponsorship, and then the balance 30 days before event day. Is that acceptable. My first conference 500 guests.

Hey, great vid. trying to find the PNL spreadsheet, it's not in the details of the vid.
When you say you loat $1800, was that before or after you paid yourself for organizing the conference? Or was your pay extra days at a nice place before or after the conference?
So does this approach apply to international conferences for the UN and NGOs, when organizing policy and economic development events ?

We usually collect sponsors throughout the year but honestly most of them don't come in until the last three months before the event starts.

1, Email marketing. what was your percentage conversions? Like in every 1000 emails sent how many did end up attending your event.
2. At what point do u start marketing for sponsors at the onset or do u wait for some registrations to confirm your credibility to the sponsors
3. what was your creteria to choose speakers did u do a call for papers or u did just a form.
4 How do u price your sponsorship packages
