really been enjoying your abbasid ranked grind. Really good at talking through your strategy/tactics as you get more involved in matchups. Good for someone like me also trying to grind the 1v1 ladder for the first time. Also you stick to 1 civ which i like. Helps get exposure to playing 1 civ and the pros/cons with multiple matchups
thank you very much, glad you've been enjoying the content. your last point is something that I've noticed recently too, learning the match ups and having more ideas going into the games, rather than guessing makes a huuuge difference.
What conclusion did you come to? I was thinking, going into horsemen meant you were spending more resources per unit. Also the 3 rams you lost trying to push his 2nd TC were costly. He did seem to have loads though. If in doubt, just report him for cheating ;)
I think I really messed up the early game, I had enough time to interrupt his 2nd tc, which I think would have slowed him down loads. Otherwise just a whole lot of mis-macro. But I've had some excellent games after this, so they'll be up soon! aha the secret to all online games ;) I appreciate the comments and you taking the time to watch, this one was NOT the best, apologies! better ones to come
@@Spriice Loving watching mate. You're very good at articulating how/why you're doing things as you play. I go into zombie mode and can't talk when i'm in a match because i'm concentrating so much. My house could be on fire, other half could be screaming at me but i'm still like QQQ, Scout there, drop a new lumber camp, how many vils in queue, QQ, no, too many, need that food for ghazis. Shit, scounts dead.

@@Spriice Not great. I change up Civs every season, so the first few weeks is always pretty rough. I'll friend you ingame if you like, maybe team up when you get bored of 1v1s.
@@thecollector303 I want to do the same, switch up civs. BUT I can't be bothered to go through the slump of losses for like 30 games aha for sure! I'll look out for the request
