They should do an event where it’s like the masked singer but the masked skater and have players from each team be in their mascots suits playing and have people try to guess who it is😂

@@staalman1226 Yeah, but look at the Gritty and Bruins mascot. Much better skaters than the rest. Tommy Hawk is the worst of them. That being said, it must be a nightmare trying to be mobile in some of these costumes.

Wild Wing is perfection in this. A goalie mascot based on a goalie cartoon character, playing goalie, while wearing a throwback jersey of his cartoon self. Someone put a lot of thought into that one.

As someone who was a former mascot I can confirm that this stuff is the most fun and terrifying thing we do. You can’t see anything and if you take a hit or fall down you can mess up the suit lol

I don’t even know what Gritty’s supposed to be. There are other mascots based on more obvious things like sea creatures (S.J. Sharkie and Fin), insects (Stinger and Thunderbug), pigs (Stormy), people (Youppi!) and even aliens (Victor E. Green) but Gritty doesn’t seem to be based on any of that!
I'd be hitting guys left and right if I was a mascot in this game.
This is simultaneously the best and worst hockey I've ever seen.

Bailey was seriously the most talented player out there!
Half of these mascots seem to have no relevance to their teams (or are wildly unoriginal). Also, was Fin on the IR list?
Youppi and the dragon came from other sports. Mick E. Moose was from a Minnesota hockey club that moved to Manitoba and was adopted by the Jets instead of bringing back Benny. The pig for Carolina made more sense when they wanted to call the team the "Ice Hogs."
IMO, they should have brought back Benny and pair him with Mick.
