Can you definitively describe "gun violence?" Before you attempt to, doesn't that term, "gun violence," imply that a "gun," ANY gun, has the capability to rise up all by itself and commit an act of violence against anybody?

Some years ago a former colleague of mine (now deceased, may God keep his soul in peace) got together with other colleagues and friends at a bar on a Friday night. I don't know all the specific details, but, apparently a couple of other guys stirred up a ruckus at the bar. My former colleague got caught up in the mayhem simply by being at the wrong place at the wrong time. He was hit up side the head with a full bottle of beer wielded by one of the miscreants that stirred up the ruckus. My former colleague was pronounced dead at the scene.
Was that full bottle of beer merely that, or, in the heat of that unfortunate moment did it become an "assault weapon?"
Many of our (s)elected "representatives" in the [ _ D _ ] _ istrict of [ _ C _ ] _ riminals , as you know, are "lawyers" of the most miscreant kind, including the one, supposedly, representing the district where I reside in far West Texas, Ms. Escobar.
I hold her in the same ill - estime as the miscreant individual that rodded the life of my former colleague.
My sentiment for Garland is none the less. Same goes for all those of his ilk.
Representatives and bureaucrats of that ilk are more slimy than greased swine in a wrestling contest, and, regretfully, I'm insulting the swine by using them in the comparison.
I don't hold that level of animus toward all attorneys, I know many fine ones.
But many, if not most, of the "lawyers" ensconced in the beltway, and throughout the whole of our "govern - ment" are of a truly "special" ilk.
And while there are some things I wholeheartedly disagree with Kennedy on (to the point of wondering who's side he's really on), I applaud his ability to thoroughly (and rightly so) eviscerate miscreants such as Garland, and others, particularly the nominees for the federal courts.
It's rather humorous to watch them piss and sh!t themselves while they attempt to stammer through an answer they just yanked out of their posterior in hopes that all watching will believe them. They can all GFT! Lol!

From 1990 to 2019 murder rates were reduced in half. Violent crimes also dropped in half. But, the DOJ always needs more money because of all the half threats compared to 1990.
