I guess its the realisation that not all relationship must be saved and that you better leave if the other is hurting you to the point that you want to hurt them as much @@armando1829
I know you think I think too much But I don't know if it's enough Dirty love, all I want are your eyes on mine And underneath of it all I dream of a thousand shooters Hallelujahs, are unable to save us But did I ever want love? Or, did I ask too much? Young dirty love, come get us strung Let's cover up what we really want And, all you see and all you feel Are skin and bones they don't hold the show like real love No, you can't control who you really are or what you really want So, I met you in the hotel, dim little lobby I've been on the road since you last saw me And I don't need a reason to bleed until we're even But did I ever want love? Or, did I ask too much? Young dirty love, come get us strung Let's cover up what we really want, oh Oh, is it any wonder our love Isn't what we thought it was? Is it any wonder our love Isn't what we thought it was? Is it any wonder, oh lord Is it any wonder our love Isn't what we thought it was? When all we do is hurt ourselves
Love the song. It's the ending that keeps it from being great though. Seems like this main singer is trying to sing two different parts that are conversing with each other. Relinquish the front half of that to the girl on the piano as a give & take and this song is on every radio station
Look guys, I don’t like this song. It bores me, I don’t find it worth spending my time listening to it. You disagree because you like it. That’s great! Music would never advance if there was only one valid taste. Just keep cool and enjoy!
I agree... the catchy beat and vocals are there, but something is missing. A better hook or a build-up, something. I still like it though, it has potential and intriguing enough to get me to follow the band's progression. That's the beauty of humans, we all see things differently! lol
"And I don't need a reason.......to bleed until we're even". It doesn't get any more real than this.
best line of the song....
I never really understood that part, could you explain?

Great Tune!!
I know you think I think too much
But I don't know if it's enough
Dirty love, all I want are your eyes on mine
And underneath of it all
I dream of a thousand shooters
Hallelujahs, are unable to save us
But did I ever want love?
Or, did I ask too much?
Young dirty love, come get us strung
Let's cover up what we really want
And, all you see and all you feel
Are skin and bones they don't hold the show like real love
No, you can't control who you really are or what you really want
So, I met you in the hotel, dim little lobby
I've been on the road since you last saw me
And I don't need a reason to bleed until we're even
But did I ever want love?
Or, did I ask too much?
Young dirty love, come get us strung
Let's cover up what we really want, oh
Oh, is it any wonder our love
Isn't what we thought it was?
Is it any wonder our love
Isn't what we thought it was?
Is it any wonder, oh lord
Is it any wonder our love
Isn't what we thought it was?
When all we do is hurt ourselves

One of my new all time favorite songs. Garsh. Instaclassic.
Philly Connection -- Mt. Joy singer has channeled a little Darryl Hall. Props.

Young dirty love, come get us drunk, let's cover up, what we really want....❤❤❤
Anyone know the ukulele cords?
I think it's like this
1st is 5-7-6-5 (G-C-E-A)
2nd is 5-5-5-5
3rd is 3-3-3-3
4th is 3-3-3-5
That bass player has no idea how badly I want to jump his bones.
