Basically what it does is unloads the chunk with the bedrock you want, pushes a slime block onto the area where the bedrock should be and uses tnt to explode the slime block. The game gets confused by which block was in the location of the bedrock and so it thinks that it is blowing up a slime block, but when loaded in at the right time it drops a piece of bedrock. I don’t know if this still works, but it’s really interesting and is as far as I know the only way to get placeable bedrock in survival
