HOL HD: One-on-one with Former Nebraska Head Coach Tom Osborne

HuskereOnline caught up with legendary Nebraska Head Coach Tom Osborne at the Outland Trophy dinner in Omaha on Wednesday night to talk about Frank Solich, Scott Frost and the state of the College Football Playoff.

The anti recruiting regulations seemed to me to be aimed at Nebraska and had a big impact on Nebraska's recruiting when Solich was coaching. We are no longer in that league and the Big Ten is really helping teams build their programs. Frost is going to be in great shape! Great to have you visiting Nebraska coach Solich!

You boys will be back, just as dominant as ever, give the man the time he needs to build it and make Lincoln a place to be feared by opponents. Yell your asses off every time the defense is on the field, to the point you'll be hoarse come Monday. Get those corn-fed boys from the local farms, hell, thats a recipe for success, recruit the Deep South and California, Frost will get there if you give him the time to do it.

More of Osborne's shoveling. He said that Solich has had to face 2 or 3 power 5 teams every year while at Ohio
In 2019, Ohio went 7-6 and faced 1 power 5 team.
