Spent a good amount of my time out there as a kid. It used to be where my and Dad went for New Years to blow stuff up. Used to wreck hard on the "moonscape" area out there.
Coming from California and regularly riding places like ocatillo wells and glamis and seeing this labeled as “the best riding” in Texas is super depressing :(
This is just a tad of what’s there! The Red Bull last man standing hard enduro were held here!! Lots of technical trail at red river!! Also bills woods there has some amazing single track! Graham Jarvis trains here when in America and does classes!! The video doesn’t say the best riding in texas though?? Says this is why we ride Dirtbikes!! If your moving here I would be gladly to show you some gnarly shit there! Some shit you may say no I’m good!! It gets super technical there in areas!!!
Went to red river this weekend. My little Apollo 125 handled it like a champ. Even some of those narly rock climbs lol. Sand ended up getting me and crashed and broke my clutch lever
The camera flattens everything out. The camera does bot do the elevation changes justice. This is my favorite place to ride.
