My grandfather,father belongs from Bangladesh. in 1969 My father had to move Kolkata permanently bcs of the family buisness which was established in Kolkata even before the 1960. That was completely mess. Full family just divided . still some part our family relatives are in Bangladesh.

India should simplify it's boarder with Bangaladesh by exchanging land like widening chicken neck and making straight boarder and should also try to get permanent land route to bay of bangal through tripura or Mizoram on the Bangladesh myanmar border by exchanging land either with myanmar or Bdesh I don't know why we have not tried to get permanent land to connect bay of bangal with NE Indian states special through Tripura and Mizoram which was very much possible during partition after many fight with pak in 1971 we could have get atleast land just for roads 🙏❤🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
