I believe many would want the same recognition for Eddie McQuire, the list of AFL achievements that have originated via Eddie is remarkable. Top notch interview with Eddie. I remember Peter Daicos kicking 9 goals against Richmond in Round 10, 1981 at Victoria Park. He was only 19 at the time. Just like Eddie watching Peter Mckenna kick a bag of 9 at Victoria Park. These are memories you never forget. To watch the Pies play at Victoria Park was so much fun.
Hope you get more big named pies to interview in the future swoop. You could be a great link between the club and fans, this was 10x more interesting and authentic than anything on fox footy.

I remember several years ago turning around in the stands and seeing Eddie in a seat among us and yelling and barracking and just gaining even more respect for him. I'll never forget that. The President of my club coming into the stands with us to cheer with us was amazing
This interview changed my entire perspective of Eddie, and I regret some of the things I've said about him in the past. Unfortunately, you don't see how genuine He is when He presents himself on the T.V shows, cause it kinda can take the not-so-real appeal, but when He spoke to directly to a fan like you Luke, the conversation really felt warm and genuine, and the things He has done for the club, is out of the world. This is why I love when they talk with the fans, because we truelly can get a better understanding then when we see them on those big talk shows. I kinda, hope. He becomes President again. Even though I was one of those who argued for him to go. 😢
Carlton supporter here. What Eddie and Bucks has done for the club moving forward is incredible. Mcrae is doing amazing things with the club. It would be great for a pies v blues GF and if Carlton win great, but if we lose to Collingwood then so be it, a formidable opponet should bring out the best and if it doesn't then we dont deserve to win.

Victoria Park was so great. Get off at the station, see the black n white at the gates. I have the sacred dirt at home with a plaque from our last official game. 1990 held the cup at Vic Park Great ground glad they are putting money back into it

Every time I watch Eddie, he is always so inspiring to me. In my eyes he is one of those people who can be claimed as a modern profit. I love the little head wiggle he does when he is proud, you can feel the passion and energy when he talks about Collingwood. His love for Collingwood is unconditional like a mother to their child.
