People say B.B. King is the King of the Blues and don’t get me wrong, I love B.B. and always will and he was super talented, but Muddy will always be my favorite bluesman. I’ve always loved blues with an emphasis on the harmonica and that combined with his deep, soulful voice is a match made in heaven.
A legend, for sure! Thanks for the reaction. Now I'd like to suggest a reaction to one of Muddy Waters greatest fans, the Irish guitar god Rory Gallagher. Take a listen to him playing the Muddy Waters tune "I Wonder Who" in 1984 Belfast for an outstanding rendition of this blues number. I promise you will be blown away!
You listening to the real king of the blues This is where The Rolling Stones got the name for their band I’m a rolling stone and the rest is history Anyone that plays the blues has covered most of his songs They call him the father of the blues and they ain’t lying Because this man can sing like no other If you looked up the blues in the dictionary there will be a picture of Muddy Waters beside the definition
