Burrow used to enjoy the wins ALOT when the team was playing complimentary football with all 3 phases... which they haven't done much this year. So he is feeling the burden more in these close losses and the pressure for the offense to carry the team imo (and maybe how ppl are calling for Zac's job) Like how Bengals lost to KC by 1 point or to the Ravens in OT by 3 points (even tho Bengals were leading by 10 points 3 separate times during the Ravens game). I think he got upset sunday bc of the 4 straight drives in the middle of the 2nd half that went punt, punt, pick 6, punt and Joe knows that won't win games against the top teams. And his connection to Ja'Marr hasn't been working ... on Sunday Ja'Marr dropped the deep ball that hit his hands when just single covered and Ja'Marr couldn't win 1:1 in the endzone (looked identical to when Ja'Marr caught that same ball in AFCCG but this time he didn't). All 4 interceptions that Burrow has thrown this year were to Ja'Marr. Ja'Marr complains if he is double covered, yet Tee catches in double coverage often and has even caught balls with 2 guys attached to his body fighting for the ball. Dhop just caught a ball in triple coverage. Ja'Marr has some great stats but if you watch the games then Ja'Marr disappears when we need to move the chains or get points. Eagles game had 3 TOs and Ja'Marr was involved in the only interception on a deep ball and on 4th & 1 turnover on downs. Ja'Marr also dropped the ball that would have been a 1st down. In Ravens game, Burrow trusted Ja'Marr to win his route against Humphrey at the end of game .... and that was his only interception that game In Panthers game, Burrow fought for his life to throw the ball where Ja'Marr was supposed to be but Ja'Marr broke off his route and went completely different direction. That turned from a highlight to a lowlight Their connection is suppose to win games but in reality it has been problematic against good defenses and/or good DCs. Reminds me of how our 2021 & 2022 defense figured out how to stop Tyreek on both the chiefs and the dolphins in 2021 and 2022
I’m loving this pod so far please keep it up guys! These are two of the sharpest savviest players and have such good insight

Good start but needs more Rams talk from Whit. We know he still texts with McVay all the time, let's get some inside info on this pod.
