Actually, there are subtle differences in the food.. Deco Deli offers more Cuban style sandwich choices and Miami slice offers the Picadillo pizza not on the Mardi Gras... Loved the Mardi Gras so much last January that we're sailing the Celebration on the exact day this coming January... two true flagships for Carnival! Love the Ocean Suite!
We are back on the Mardi Gras at the end of April! Can't wait to try the Celebration!

My very first cruise ever was on Mardi Gras, I'll never sail Carnival again. The ship sucked, the layout is awful and hard to navigate, the food made multiple passengers sick. There was only 1 of 7 of us who weren't blowing up the toilet with one end or the other. Kids were out of control. They broke an elevator door off so as if there weren't already a shortage of elevators, they made it worse. They ran up and down halls at all hours of the night banging on others doors, I was assaulted and body shamed. Carnival did absolutely nothing even after multiple complaints from multiple different state rooms. Finally, the ports SUCKED except Turks and Caicos. If you don't buy an excursion in Amber cove they dump you off at the port to go to a one acre piece of land and wait for it.....a motherfucking swimming pool. You had to walk 40 min to get to a free beach in Nassau and be on constant alert to make sure you weren't scammed or robbed. Just don't do it.
On the Carnival Celebration you have more bigger seating area for Emeril's Bistro Restaurant than the Mardi Gras.

Went on our first ever cruise on the Mardi Gras in February 2023. We had a Havana Cabana Balcony room.
We had such a great time, we've booked a Havana Suite on the ge Celebration for the exact same week February 2024.
Interested to see how the ships compare and how the rooms compare.

Are the cabins the same or is there a difference
The cabins are pretty much the same.
Doing research on the two ships, I see that they are exactly the same size, and crew is the same amount; however, the rooms are a bit smaller on the celebration, as to accommodate more passengers.
Going on the Celebration Jan 3rd 2023! can't wait!
