will there be a double stand built after the champion's trophy? or was that planned all canceled?
That is not confirmed yet
No double stands will be built… modern double stand stadiums construction cost is much higher… so instead of building double stand stadium, they built the jointed stands… now the capacity of this stadium is more than dubai stadium.
Second, due to Pakistan security issues. I don’t think the establishment would take risk to handle more than 50K people at once.
@xssentialSports we have a double stand stadium in PESHWAR dude. this doesn't make sense as we are also building a 50k capacity double-stand stadium in Karachi. (Rafi Stadium) and also one is planned in Islamabad for which CDA is allotting land soon. Islamabad stadium is also going to be a 50k capacity stadium not sure if it will be a double stand tho.
@ Arbab Niaz Stadium is a sub standard stadium… old design filled with pillars, most of the spectators would see pillars…. The spectators sitting on top stands would not be able to see fielders underneath the stadium… stands are not aligned… iss se acha stadium mein bana leta yar… pata nahi inho ne kis se blueprint design karwaya hai… second aisy double stands ka kia fiada jis mein 20K log ayn… iss se zeda log tou purany gaddafi mein bhi aa jaty thy.
Rafi Stadium is based on the design of Dubai… and you can google it Dubai Stadium capacity is only 25K. And Bahria Town just marketed their stadium to be the biggest but later on they said it will be 35K… I have counted the number of planks and believe me its not gonna be more than 28K… aur woh stadium 2029 tak ready nahi ho raha..
Islamabad ka stadium bhi 35K se upar nahi ho ga… ye sub lollipop hain… max 25 to 30k wala stadium banayn ge.
Aur jo stadium Peshawar mein hai uss mein koi bhi bari International team nahi aaye gi.
Roof plz modern honi chahiye like a perth stadium or dubai❤❤
