I remember watching this game. It was one of the tensest games I've ever seen. The gold standard for defensive games (actually has really, really good defense rather than just incompetent offense).
This game had constant and lengthy commercials because of there being so many consecutive "4 downs and outs"---so this huddle-and-commercial-free video may be your most valuable one yet. As always, thanks so much!
I got to admit. I see what I seen LSU had defense that night but we did to. There was nothing but "D" both sides. Hardly any offense. We only had our QB that scored.
I had the game on mute and Eli Gold on the radio during this; listening now I remember why. Gary and Verne sound disinterested (or disappointed) when Bama is winning and excited when they're losing.
thedungeondelver I feel like every Bama game that Verne and Gary are covering, Gary always manages to find a spot to fit in a reference to the Kick 6 and I really can't stand it. So I don't listen to their commentary anymore either. RTR tho
Pandemonium Did you catch the aTm broadcast? They sounded disappointed when Texas couldn't convert and got intercepted in the 4th corner. "Aww and it's incomplete."
This is why I laughed at people who said Hurts was a Heisman candidate. He fucks up every game. He just has the largest margin for error in the country because of Alabama's defense. I can't count how many times this season he's turned it over and Alabama got a 3 and out after and got the ball right back. Its nearly impossible to fuck it up as an Alabama quarterback.
AlphaDwg nobody really said he was a heisman candidate ? they said he will be in the future , as in his junior and senior year & what do you mean, he always messes up ? you're acting like he's a horrible QB which he is not by far. He has so much potential, and God willing he doesn't suffer any injuries, will be one of the best dual threat QBs Alabamas ever had by the time he graduates
He getting heisman hype dude and he shouldn't really be. I'm not saying he sucks. He's having a great freshman year but dude litteraly gets to make every mistake possible and none of it matters because of Bamas defense lol. Their defense all year has allowed him to develop with zero pressure. Fumble your first ever snap? Don't worry defense will hold them to just a field goal. Get a fumble returned for a touchdown against Ole miss? Don't worry defense scored twice to cancel that out. Can only produce 10 points on offense? ha this is Bama we'll just shut them out. I'm not saying he sucks. I'm saying the heisman hype he is getting (ESPN has him 3rd right now) is unwarranted and kinda disrespectful to the rest of the team which is doing more than their fair share of uplifting him. Watch the games. He is making costly mistakes that don't matter because Bama is that good and has that much talent. Like I said he aint terrible but heisman? Nah
I agree. Hurts is average qb at best! He plays with an above average defense and above average wr group. He is not that good. And I am from alabama in huntsville. And he still is average to me, but bama qb are never really the reason they win the bcs title!
lsu offense messed it up, this was the year lsu couldve beat Alabama holding them up to only 10 points, coach O didnt do bad against Alabama this what lsu was missing a coach like coach O im really looking foward to LSU vs Alabama this year
This was the game where I doubted we could win the title. I didn't make it to the game this year but after the game was over I told my BIL that we wouldn't win the title. I thought the same after Auburn and Florida. These were nice wins but we didn't dominate like we should have. Now, Bama is LSU's biggest game and will always be "up" for this game but we should have won this game 31-14 or something. We did beat AU and Florida that way but it was all big plays. After the UT game we didn't methodically just beat teams we were better than.
I know it's old but LSU was a above average offense away last year from winning it all and their defense was scary good Bama wasn't going to get that many points with Jalen Hurts going against LSU's DB's
lol had to shut up some ignorance, but first let me go ahead and admit yeh you guys won. IDC about records. but to say LSU sucks is just being scared of competition, idk what it is about you bama fans but Nick Satan got yal spoiled. if yal only win by 10, 7, or 3 it's cause yal had a bad game and it's the refs, but yet you turn a blind eye to every late hit and helmet to helmet call. I'm certain there's a helmet to helmet missed in every game they've had this season.
So, LSU needs Nick Saban's recruits and for Alabama to be on probation to win consistently against the Tide. Gotcha. Also, before that streak you referred to, Bama came very close to having 10+ in a row in the 90's, not to mention 11 straight from '72-'81. I really don't think LSU fans should bring up streaks vs Bama anymore.
Rahloh McDumbass Interesting that you know something the NCAA doesn't. Keep hoping, because that's the only way you'll beat Alabama in any of the years to come. You couldn't even beat Auburn with the most stacked roster you've had since 2011, much less Alabama at night, at home, playing against a TRUE freshman QB. LSU sucks, get used to it.
U are right and Bo is going to have a lot of great nights in the future as long as he stay patient and does not fumble the ball. He is the most talented back of the four backs. His true skill level will come out very soon. RTR!!!
Keith banks And what has Fournette done other than get shut down every time he plays Alabama? Hell, add up his carries against them the past three years and he _still_ doesn't have 150 yards.
Yea pandemonium, o.j Howard needs to be involved more . Lane kitten lol autocorrect , needs to quit with the jet sweeps and lateral movement's, they work some, but we are deviating from our bread and butter....running it down there throat. I'm going to the Tenn Chattanooga game. The iron bowl is to expensive but roll tide roll
@Gamecock Nation He was in a shitty offense last year. Now that they have a legit offensive scheme, he's finally in position to make plays so last year's game doesn't mean shit. And I don't know what game you were watching but auburn did not expose him lol. 32 for 42 for 321 yards ain't getting exposed
as usual you loserana state fans are wrong. we got away with one defensive holding that wouldn't have mattered anyway. go cry to your mom kid. your team sucks.
i'm sorry just because a defender gets his ass whipped doesn't mean it's holding. even if it was, it doesn't change the outcome maybe 6-0 or even 3-0 but Alabama still wins. it's fairly obvious most refs rule against Alabama as with most dominant teams.
One of the best defensive games I have ever seen.
JDP Creations did you see the 2011 game between these 2 teams?
JDP Creations it was basically 7-0!
Not now lmao
@@mvp_drake6334 I mean it had very similar vibes to 2011.
@@CC-bm3wbthis game was some how more defensive that hurts touchdown in the dying seconds messes up the score but it was really 0-0 for 55 mins
I remember watching this game. It was one of the tensest games I've ever seen. The gold standard for defensive games (actually has really, really good defense rather than just incompetent offense).
Bama’s defense that year was stacked
This game had constant and lengthy commercials because of there being so many consecutive "4 downs and outs"---so this huddle-and-commercial-free video may be your most valuable one yet. As always, thanks so much!
Great game by both teams. Geaux Tigers!
I like how you could not let that thread go without insult. Respect
Good and frustrating game. Roll Tide, but respect to Tigers.
lets go cena lsu sucks
I got to admit. I see what I seen LSU had defense that night but we did to. There was nothing but "D" both sides. Hardly any offense. We only had our QB that scored.
To this day, I will never understand how that holding was missed on the hurts td. I mean, come on. He grabs the guy on the left around the throat
Ryan Thomas LSU was holding on offense and defense the whole game. Bogus calls for motion cost Bama a TD stop whining
Bama has a history of getting away with holding calls on big plays
Good game - tough defensive battle. #RTR
Dude, you'd make millions if you can do this with every game. I'm begging for UGA games like this. I'd share the hell out of it.
It would be nice to make some money from it, but everything is monetized by the NCAA.
That's a beautiful baby:)
I had the game on mute and Eli Gold on the radio during this; listening now I remember why. Gary and Verne sound disinterested (or disappointed) when Bama is winning and excited when they're losing.
And u my friend r right to but Gary is the bigger hatter of the two. RTR!!!
thedungeondelver I feel like every Bama game that Verne and Gary are covering, Gary always manages to find a spot to fit in a reference to the Kick 6 and I really can't stand it. So I don't listen to their commentary anymore either. RTR tho
They can't stand Bama. They forget names constantly as well.
Pandemonium
Did you catch the aTm broadcast? They sounded disappointed when Texas couldn't convert and got intercepted in the 4th corner.
"Aww and it's incomplete."
thedungeondelver they always seem to talk about what would happen if we lose
Hope you enjoy seeing Cameron Gamble at 0:12. This is the first and last time you’ll see him in this game.
This game was LSU’s chance the defense played great
thank you thank you for this vid! I missed the game because of work. great vid keep them coming!
I enjoy watching Bama games this way.
This the game that showed every coach Jalen hurts could not pass down field
Thanks for posting.
You're welcome! Glad ya like it.
21:16 how can you miss that hold
Jalen Hurts ... one read, run right

I'm assuming you weren't talking to me cause that would be asinine.
He getting heisman hype dude and he shouldn't really be. I'm not saying he sucks. Whatever loser. Sec player of the year. Stfu
Play at 3:10 just shows how good this run defense this
Great channel. Keep the games coming.
6 in a row, Bayou Bengals. RTR!
You mean 6 in reaux! Roll Tide
So uh any of you fellas think LSU is 2nd best in the conference talent wise?? :)
Lamar Stevens Yes.Geaux Tigers.
lsu offense messed it up, this was the year lsu couldve beat Alabama holding them up to only 10 points, coach O didnt do bad against Alabama this what lsu was missing a coach like coach O im really looking foward to LSU vs Alabama this year
Nope, Bamas D was that good
University Alabama versus Kentucky 2013
Show me University of Alabama Crimson Tide vs Kentucky Wildcats 201

Best pass of the night from Hurts... 12:45 to 13:05. Nice one.... One.
lsu owes alabama a home game. alabama played lsu 2 years in a row in 1992. before that, alabama home games were the odd years.
lol had to shut up some ignorance, but first let me go ahead and admit yeh you guys won. Diesel Kidd the refs help bama when bama is losing. It's a shame
Actually Lsu does suck.
Diesel Kidd facts Bruh
Oligarchy, excuses and crying. Every ref is not a Bama fan.
Looking back on this vid three years later geaux 🐯 🐯🐯🐯🐯
hurts only going into his sophomore year an he finessing
16:34, look at them putting their hands on the bama players throat in the middle
No one seems to remember LSU beat these devils 5 straight times until this evil streak!!Good will prevail!!
So, LSU needs Nick Saban's recruits and for Alabama to be on probation to win consistently against the Tide. Gotcha. +marktastic86 Evils reign is close to an end. 3 of those titles will be stripped for violations soon!,Enjoy Crimson Turdz
+Rahloh McDonogh Are you really this stupid?
Rahloh McDumbass Interesting that you know something the NCAA doesn't. Keep hoping, because that's the only way you'll beat Alabama in any of the years to come. +marktastic86 You get to play LSU every year CT,See ya next year sir,the Tigers will be there.
Damn those defenses play like some wolfs I'm glad I don't have a game against them this year
Was this a top 5 college game this year?
it was the college game of the year
Leonard F was a beast until this game 😈 RTR
How is 4:51 not called a safety?
Cornrow Wallace he got out to the 1: Forward progress
Bo had a better night than Fournette, RTR!!!!
U are right and Bo is going to have a lot of great nights in the future as long as he stay patient and does not fumble the ball. He is the most talented back of the four backs. His true skill level will come out very soon. RTR!!!
if you don't get out of here with that bo Scarborough is TRASH compared to fournette
Scarborough has a championship ring. How about Fournette?
so the hell what bo Scarborough is a damn 3 string RB on your team lmaoo just quit dude you sound dumb
Keith banks And what has Fournette done other than get shut down every time he plays Alabama? Hell, add up his carries against them the past three years and he _still_ doesn't have 150 yards.
LSU play well above their normal effort vs Alabama. LSU still lost. Imagine that.
Yea pandemonium, o.j Howard needs to be involved more . Lane kitten lol autocorrect , needs to quit with the jet sweeps and lateral movement's, they work some, but we are deviating from our bread and butter....running it down there throat. I wonder if the players can shove the ref out of the way without getting a penalty?
Yes
I would have done that. That ref didn't know where to go. LOL!
Lsu dominated this game but no
Qb is y they lost this year will be different burrow baby
....
@Gamecock Nation Still think burrow is crap? Lol
@Gamecock Nation Alabama's defense will be the third best he's played. He ain't getting exposed lol
Our defense was tired by the second quarter
Look at all them non-players trying to fight on LSU side 😂😂
'''Damn!! Bammie was lucky LSU didn't have an offense or we would have choked with 1 second left'''',...........Nick Saban
Your Mother and Wife always chokes on something when there one second left !!!!!!!
Be ready Bama 2017
lsu has replaced georgia tech in the fight song.
Look the multiple holding calls that were missed on that touchdown😂😂 pathetic.
On god lsu got wayyy more talent den bama every year but always lose to em bc dey not disciplined lik bama. #smh
Run the ball
Why isn't hurts up for the Heisman?
He's only a freshman, probably needs little more time
He should be Terence Hughes. I was at that game last year.
It's so cute that LSU still can' t score when Alabama turns over the ball in their own territory twice.
Kreitlein Kids Alabama got on the one yard line and didn't score
Kreitlein Kids we need a qb
Yes they did, a field goal. Last I checked that's 3 points
3-1 offsets....congrats refs, obviously you'll need to go back to school.
Jalen was never a good QB..
10-0 it could have been 100-0. Does not matter Alabama wins its sixth straight vs the Bayou Boogers in their house again.
Why? Why couldn't we have a decent offense? Why? Why? Why?
Go tigers
ROLL TIDE ROLL
rolllllllll mt tide
LSixU
Roll Tide
The refs all in the way
Etling is so bad
and as usual LSU got away with pretty much every late hit and got plenty of help from refs.
Kreitlein Kids eh I'm a Bama fan and I thought they sucked but it was pretty balanced. Both teams got away with a couple obvious ones.
Kreitlein Kids So did Alabama
as usual you loserana state fans are wrong. we got away with one defensive holding that wouldn't have mattered anyway. go cry to your mom kid. your team sucks.
Kreitlein Kids holding call when hurts score? The interception wasn't an interception for bama at the end
i'm sorry just because a defender gets his ass whipped doesn't mean it's holding. even if it was, it doesn't change the outcome
maybe 6-0 or even 3-0 but Alabama still wins.
it's fairly obvious most refs rule against Alabama as with most dominant teams.
Man LSU nigga🐯🐯🐯
