I see I’m not the only one that thinks the 520 are complete shit in regards to driver comfort and have to come up with a way to make it comfortable.. I drive a 520 and I will say they are fast, effective, smooth (at times and usually when new) and somewhat reliable if it doesn’t go up in flames but trust me, that door if there is no cushion on it will make your leg hurt for the rest of the day and my even leave an imprint. You got to literally sit dead center considering the other side is the engine and gets hot as hell during the summer that you sure don’t want to be leaning your leg on that side. May sound like I am just complaining (trying to keep profanity low) but if Peterbilt would just bring that cushioned or padded door or just make the door flat with no design, we would like them a little more.
