I did ultimately find the inside trunk release and the tunnel cover release cables. You are like a resident expert on these cars. This car actually drove pretty nice, I gotta admit.
Technically its not a Lebaron. HOWEVER, its all K Car underneath which included almost every Chrysler vehicle at that time including the Lebaron. Plus, the body designers from Maserati pretty much made it look like a Lebaron.
From my research it was mostly based on the Daytona which was definitely a K-Car chassis. But I think the Daytona was actually the basis for the LeBaron anyway and it was all based on the k-car chassis. So it's probably all the same stuff anyway.

She gets lots of looks and comment from people asking about the car. I've recently decided to "try" to convert the manual top to power by utilizing the frame from the Lebaron convertible top. That will be my summer project, we just got tired of having to raise and lower the top by hand. Wish me luck.

I've tried to sell it for a while but no bites and the junkyard won't pay anything for it. It's actually a pretty decent car but it's not my thing. So I'm going to come up with a giveaway with no purchase necessary. Like to see it go to a good home.
