I live in limerick, Dolores’ hometown and on the anniversary of her death it was like a national celebration. When she passed it was like the country froze. She was from a little town in Co. Limerick, and her funeral was in Limerick City, and there was such love and grief too, bless her. I sang this song when I was a teenager with a band I was in, and she was such an inspiration. It was lovely to see your little daughter reacting with ye. Love!
When the model came out in the gold, it threw the band off because she looked so much like Dolores. They actually had to stop and take a bit to collect themselves.

In 2010 Robert was high & during a home invasion at Tommy's house he tried to beat Tommy to death. Robert was convicted of attempted murder & is serving 17 years in prison. The Bad Wolves song "Remember When" is based on the attack.

They took the original and enhanced it with their own styling while remaining true to what the Cranberries intended. Dolores will be missed. The somg was about two young victims of a bombing carried out by the IRA (Irish Republican Army) in 93 I think. Fun fact: Delores was very adamant about other bands officially covering her music, especially Zombie, because it was extremely personal to her. Bad Wolves was, is and forever will be the ONLY band in the world to obtain her expressed permission to officially cover this song. I'd say she chose wisely. Bad Wolves did the song and by extension Delores great justice with their version of an iconic song.
Damn I love this cover. The punch of the instrumental and Tommy's voice always get me. Just the thought of how he and Dolores would have sounded together gives me goosebumps. Note the words of the song are slightly changed, they mention drones in one line which originally was not included. The Bad Wolves donated song sale proceeds to the O'Riordan family. And yes the cover is different, but its a cover, its supposed to be the bands take on the original, and it is, I like it, prefer the original because.... well Dolores O'Riordan is simply a singer with a sound and passion like no other, which cannot be replicated. But this is a powerful and worthwhile tribute.
This has been a great song since it came out so long ago. Deloris did the song about the war between the IRA and the British in Northern Ireland. Belfast and many other areas have been a war zone for over a hundred years. Bad Wolves did a great tribute to her and the rest of the cranberries. Maybe one day, the dream of freedom from British rule become a reality for Northern Ireland. This song brought awareness to the struggles almost 30 years ago.

We found the bad wolves version of the cranberries song last summer right after her 3rd bday...and she constantly plays this song over and over this last year.. she knows every single word....at 3!!! And will tell people around her at the time the story about the cranberries singer passing and how they donated the money to her children.....shes so smart for her age.....just like this little girl! I loved that they used a woman that looked like Delores and then even used her exact look from the original music video that I’ll never forget from my childhood. I’ve always loved this song. Now knowing more about what it means I’m proud that I always loved it.
Also the part with the girl leaving the handprint was pretty incredible. Felt almost like it was them trying to symbolize that her mark will always be felt in the world and then by the end it maybe symbolized that they no longer can see her.

Awesome song. Love this song. Check out Bad Wolves “Remember When”. Tommy Vext, the lead singer of Bad Wolves was murdered in 2012. He died. Yes in 2018 he sings with Bad Wolves. The song Remember When is that story of his death and why he is where he is today.

In the original video by The Cranberries Delores was in gold body paint. The gold girl represents Delores. What got me was the part where she wrote 1-15-18 on the glass. That was the day the greatest female vocalist was called home. But her legend will live forever.

Actually bad wolves and cran berries singer were supposed to do this cover together and since she passed away the morning before they were set to do it in a studio,the band decided to do it themselves and have all proceeds go to her family.

I like this cover. When I first saw the video I began sobbing as soon as I saw the lady in gold. Then she puts Delores' death date in the paint on the glass. Who am I kidding, I cry every time.

the PURPOSE for the GIRL in GOLD is a tribute to DOLORES in the ORIGINAL Cranberries -Zombie video (watch it and the light-bulb will go off) and the glass symbolised her passing and the singer reaching out to her but not touching as they were MEANT to for the recording.....its really heart-breaking and a beautiful tribute by the band!

The woman in gold is supposed to be Delores, her motions mirror the same ones she performs halfway thru the original song, but it's given a new context in this song. I agree with her being on the other side, but she's representing a Gaelic goddess similar to Mother Nature in both videos. She's using the paint to cover her view of humanity

First time I heard the Bad Wolves version of this, I’m not ashamed to admit I cried because of remembering Dolores O’Riordan of The Cranberries. This version is powerful in itself.
