I switched to a power SB build - hammer/sword/axe and it was amazing compared to the condi build. I like ranged so dropped the sword/hammer and use LB instead and it works great. Swapped the hammer for two mace and that works great too. Only open world though.
Hello Jen, can you recommend a class to me? The focus is on open world PVE solo, WvW grp/solo and occasionally PvP, Fractals. I've tried out a few classes so far but don't know what would fit, I have a Necromancer and Guardien, but I'm still a beginner. I'd be happy if you could recommend a class to me
late af, but since no one answered im not to late.. you can play any prof/build/combo you like in open world, for those 2 picks i'll say willbender and reaper are the safer ones, scourge and firebrand are more oriented to group gameplay tho they can be amazing at solo runs, but require more effort/knowledge to succed
Good video as always thank you. I have tried your celes catalyst build and it works fine but im a bit lazy for autent swapping. I want a profession for clearing all maps, story and have fun in open world and WvW. Which is more fun to main? elementalist or ranger?
Switched main axe for Sword for some mobility for map runs and for helping disengage to follow commander cause these days OW are kind of “frenetic”… if u lose 30sec, u lose some chests lol
Yes, or you could take the bird pet for the merged leap. I changed sword because sometimes being full melee it feels bad so having a mid range option with axe helps.

Is mace still the way to go after the recent nerf?
