  • A lot of people ask me for memory improvement book recommendations.
    I've definitely got them.
    The problem is...
    There are even better books out there that will improve your memory.
    Sometimes they are called "spiritual" books or meditation books...
    When in reality, they are books that will improve your memory...
    To be fair, one in particular basically requires better memory in order to work.
    But I'm mentioning that book today anyway. That way, you'll know what it is when you're ready for it.
    Because when you're learning the Magnetic Memory way, you'll definitely want to make sure it's in your mind.

    Your explanation of the seal of seals being the consciousness is connecting a lot of dots for me. I'd tried to read it previously and got lost along the way. I'll need to re read that with this in mind

      Glad it helped! This is the core of On the Shadows of the Ideas and Thirty Statues as well.
      All philosophers of pure immanence seem to share this view in common. It is a kind of antidote to the problems of the philosophy of transcendence.

    You are teaching manifestation and the mind has to think about what it wants, see what it wants, feel what it wants in order for it to appear. Memory improves imagination which improves manifestation. Good information that you are teaching.

    Thanks for another great video. Do you offer any type of 1-1 coaching sessions type of service? I really would like to pick your brain to discuss the best strategy i could use for a difficult exam i will undertake. I've been combining AI and traditional memory techniques and its a powerful combination, but i think the results it generate it could be improved further by changing the prompts. For that, i would like to talk to you if you offer any type of service like this. Thanks

      Thanks for sharing your experiences with these suggestions. Bruno also suggested that we choose love.
      I think it makes sense, and you can use a Memory Wheel to help actualizing the love you generate. More on that coming soon.
      Thanks again in the meantime and please let me know if there are any aspects related to this topic or anything else you'd like to see covered on the channel. I'll do my best to make it happen.

      If only... unless I'm missing some titles you're aware of, the contemporary market is dominated with either tomes by memory competitors or opportunists. Maybe Kevin Vost, but beyond that, and without suggestions that fill my blind spots, I must repeat, if only...

    • @thomasnaliiii1314
      @thomasnaliiii1314 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Spirituality is Bruno’s memory books is what ignited my interest in learning
      Learning method of loci got me feeling like I can learn anything. I’m in college yet my first instinct was to touch on what I felt held back from before- Tarot
      And spirit for me is all stuff that applies directly to making my life better and more efficient so I may enjoy a life I really want. And finding clarity as to what that even looks like!!
      I’m quite happy.

      @thomasnaliiii1314 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@AnthonyMetivierMMM Now that would be a hefty project, but worthy.
      I believe I have, however, finally understood a use for Bruno’s wheel diagram in Song of Circe surrounding the pig
      It can be used as a format for polyglotism. You and I would likely populate these “wheels” using actual locations. But they end up on the same “wheel” after you’ve layered multiple languages, in a sense.
      Maybe that’s nonsense. It’s a wild read and beckons many re-reads. Reminds me of a video I watched today from a fantasy writer, designing his “metamorphic” magic system that makes it so magic users are easily identifiable after they’ve undergone physical changes due to their use of magic

      Of course it does not. Just trying to find out different approaches from different fields.In the Islamic world for example more focus is on repetition . You can meet little kids reciting long passages or even books verbatim.

    Hello Anthony! Since I came fast, I wanted to ask!
    There's is a fast way to memorize verbatism?

    • @AnthonyMetivierMMM
      @AnthonyMetivierMMM  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Yes, there is... but a lot depends on your current level of skill and the exact nature of the text.
      What do you want to memorize verbatim?

    • @diegopintos7513
      @diegopintos7513 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Because is the way of the memory where I'm less skilled. I tend to use memory palace for school notes,videos and books sometimes.
      I also use a modified version of 0-9 PAO just for playing with numbers.
      I could use it to place to remember quotes precisely or take better book notes.

      In case of doubt!

    • @AnthonyMetivierMMM
      @AnthonyMetivierMMM  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Your English comes across very well.
      You can definitely memorize these matters verbatim. But verbatim isn't always the best possible strategy for this kind of information. Often you can just memorize keywords compounded with other aspects of proper study strategy.

    • @diegopintos7513
      @diegopintos7513 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Alright! I'll do that!
      One more thing Anthony!
      I'm getting more and more fan of memory techniques!
      What are some of the most creative uses of memory techniques?
      For example, recently I have read about using memory palaces to remember places of travel with the loco's.
      And recently, myself, since I read a book about naming sensations of the body to allow better understanding of the mental state through the body.
      And since they can be named I thought about making mnemonic images about them and place them in a memory palace in my body to allow better understanding,better place in long term memory and recall.
      In other words,deeper understanding of the mind and body, using mnemonics.
      The book it's called Zensorial mente by Estanislao Bachrach if you want it!
      I think you could give it a better use than me.
      I like your videos, thanks for introducing me to mnemonics!

      Why would you care about a list of titles without the context of the importance I'm placing on them? Sounds like a much different problem than laziness, no?
      Because rest assured: All of these books require effort in order for them to be useful. Their titles are utterly meaningless in that regard.
