It isn't bad, but humor is affected by cultural and environmental differences. That's the reason why the writers of the American version of The Office realized it was a bad idea to mimic the UK version of the show in the first season and once they made it more American, it became a hit and loved by all sorts of countries regardless and many other counties adapted the show and changed the humor to fit the culture.
I love how Simon still plays along with it when he’s told to wave his hands but he does it with the smallest amount of effort possible. I think the funniest thing about it for me is just that I know that’s what I’d do *XD*
