    Jenson Brooksby plays like an old man. Like an old timey duffer who hangs out by the courts all day, has goofy strokes, and then when he finally talks his way into playing with you, beats you straight 1 and 2. It drives me crazy

    Brooksby pushed Ruud around very rudely! Smart playing and a great win for Brooksby although he looked spent!
    Top 16 Seeds are falling quickly: Nadal, Ruud, Fritz, Zverev, Berrettini.

      Hopefully Novak can make it through. Since we saw today that his trauma was unfolded in one of the earliest stages in the tournament which is quite scary for him.

    Brooksby is arguably the best living representation of how pushers can dominate a match at such a high level. When the fear that you cannot win by the level of brute force you have kicks in after you make a series of unforced errors by going wild and taking chances, that's when you get passive not to make further mistakes and pushed around. What a nightmare to play this guy!

  • @pawshands9706
    @pawshands9706 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Just from these highlights, I am perplexed by Casper's passive hitting. Brooksby isn't a brilliant strategist, so why play into his strengths? Lesson learned.

    • @wishyrater
      @wishyrater ปีที่แล้ว

      #1 criticism towards Casper for some time now. He gets very passive and it's holding him back

  • @magyarulnembeszelek1354

    What a bad strategy from Ruud throwing slices and weak no agressive shots on but on the other side great performance from Brooksby. Congratulations. Great future.

    • @ignaciosuarez9948
      @ignaciosuarez9948 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe he exceeded doing that but wasn't bad at all. Brooksby prefers faster shots than slices or low shots

    I like how brooksbie just exclusively peppered rods backhand just back in back in back in clearly rude is not comfortable hitting winners from his back inside and so that just open the court occasionally for Jenson Brooksby to hit forehand winners to the forehand it was a brilliant plan and it worked perfectly

    Well done Jensen Brooksby that was an incredible win last night knocking out the #2 seeded Rudd in Melbourne. One of the announcers said “you know Rudd is struggling if he’s losing to an American”. The USA ATP players are a little lite in the ass in the international respect sphere I’m afraid. The Big 3 have smothered out the 🔥 of the USA ATP credibility unfortunately. The American WTA players have been carrying the 🇺🇸. Get Some Brooksby!…. 🇺🇸🎾👏🏻😤👀

    Even though Ruud’s one of the nicest players on tour, I think he is the worst #2 in history like Kyrgios can wipe the floor with him. Even on clay, Kyrgios can come close and he HATES clay

    • @hello-mv6yg
      @hello-mv6yg ปีที่แล้ว +1

      fax, I have no clue how he's even in the top 10, let alone top 5. Kyrgios could've easily beaten Khachanov and demolish Ruud in the semis of the USO. But this is fate...
